Chapter 2 (1 year later)

"C'mon Jason!" He did as I said and came down the stairs, dressed in a Blue T-shirt and black pants, while

I was wearing the same black skinny jeans, chucks, and T-shirt that I wore when was adopted. We were getting a brother.

Well I was.

"I'm coming Rainy!" after about 3 months I was there he started calling me Rainy, and i broke out of my shell. Karen and I would

spend Friday nights watching Ghost Adventures and eating ice cream in our PJ's. And we still did.

We all hopped into the car and and I shook with hapiness.

"Rainy calm down! I'm not sure how nice he's gonna be, he was very much abused just a year ago."

I froze and didn't reply, I just stared out the window and stopped shaking.

"Sorry Rayne.."

"I-it's o-okay" I managed to say.

We pulled up to the orphanage, I waited in the car as Karen and Jason stepped out of the car and entered

the front doors. I looked at my reflection and realized I hadn't changed a bit since last year. Same long brown hair, same scene look,

although I did look cleaner.

I stared at the front doors and waited for them to walk out, and soon enough they did, with a boy my age, black long hair

with the same look as me. He kept his head down so I couldn't see his face. He hopped into the backseat as Jason put his 1 suitcase in the trunk.

"Hey.....I'm Rayne" He glared at me, flipped me off then put his head down. I stayed quiet for the rest of the ride home.

I grabbed his suitcase and lead him to his room, it was right next to mine. I looked at him, and he looked back. He had very dark eyes

and long eyelashes that any girl would be jealous of. He wore blue jeans, and a black shirt. I couldn't quite make out

what his shoes looked like, but they were black. I liked it.

"Could you stop f****** staring?" I looked down.

"Karen and Jason want you too come downstairs."

"Whatever"

"Don't be such a jerk..."

"Don't be suck a b****" he snapped back

I rolled my eyes and headed downstairs. Karen and Jason were sitting on the couch. I sat on the chair across from them, and

the boy headed down the stairs.

"Rayne, this is "Nathan" she said, I liked his name. "He's your new brother, and our new son"

"Go to hell. I have no family"

Nathan headed upstairs after that. Jason followed him and grabbed his shoulder. Nathan flinched and punched Jason in the face.
