Chapter 12

OKAY. I know I already uploaded chapter 12 before, but I wanted to add something in the middle. CHRISTMAS. I hope you guys love it! :D (Oh and The graduation scene will now be chaoter 14)

Chapter 12 (Christmas day)

It was dark.

I counted the days.

It was Christmas.

I smiled and looked at the bones and some flesh of my father.

Although it wasn't him

This figure had long brown hair, she was naked. I brushed the hair away from her face and screamed.

Rayne.

Her mouth was open as if she was screaming out of pain when she died. Her brown eyes were replaced with maggots and other bugs. The skin was white and cold as I felt her face.

"Rayne! No please! Fuck you Uncle Kenny! Fuck you!"

I looked back down at Rayne. She was speaking.

"Nathan, Nathan wake up it's Christmas! Natey!" I woke up to Rayne hovering over me with messy hair and her skin was back to the color it should be. I was breathing as if I had just ran a marathon. Her smile faded and she stared at me.

"Bad dream?"

"The worst. But I'm okay."

"You sure?"

"I said I'm okay!" I snapped at her with more anger than I attended. Although she understood. She kissed my forehead and headed downstairs. I stayed there on my bed. I looked over at a picture of Rayne and I kissing. It was like a picture you would find in a magazine. Perfect. I smiled at it. She was okay. We were okay. My eyes grazed over where posters used to be, and where pictures of Rayne took their places.She was so pretty. I liked going to sleep to her, and waking up, to her, was great.

I got up and headed torwards the door. Christmas. I always got presents from Karen and Jason. And Christmas was nice.

But this year was different.

I had Rayne.

Best. Present. Ever.

I ran downstairs and jumped into Rayne's arms, she laughed and carried me. I was light, and Rayne was a lot stronger than I thought. I felt like king of the world until she dropped me and ruined the moment. Damn Rayne.

I kneeled next to a few boxes labeled "Nate" and took them. I opened the biggest ones first. Rayne snatched it out of my hand and smaked me.

"Whore!"

"That one's from me! Open it last!"

I sighed. I had a present for her. But I wanted to go somewhere special and give it to her. I was going to take her to the hill that we made love on, and present her with her present. It wasn't easy. I had gotten a job as a waiter and got some cash to buy her and I matching necklaces. One was half of a heart and said "His" The other half said "Hers". They cost 200 dollars. But it was so worth it.

I had already opened 4 boxes of clothes, and a new phone. All from Karen and Jason. I hugged them and then something slipped off my tongue.

"I love you guys"

I coughed and hacked. Jason hit my back.

"It's okay Nate, we love you too."

I cleared my throat and smiled. Then a giant force hit me. Rayne had tackled me, with her gift screaming "OPEN ITTT!! OPEN IT BABBBYYYY!" I laughed my ass off then slowly ripped of the wrapping paper.

"Hurry!"

I went slower to bother her. She punched my arm and I laughed. She was practically shaking.

"You're killing her!" Karen screamed

I laughed then opened it the rest of the way.

Oh my God.

A guitar.

A electric guitar

I stared in amazement and then switched my gaze to Rayne. She smiled and yelled "SURPRISE!" I tackled her like she did me, a few minutes ago. I kissed all over her face then whispered in her ear "I love you"

She smiled and kissed me with passion. Her tongue entered it's wait into my mouth, and then our tongues met. We parted and hugged.

"I have something to show you."

When I said that her whole face lit up.

(Rayne's POV)

We were driving in our car. I was shaking form how excited I was.

I looked over at Nathan as he drove. I admired his perfect jawline. Nathan was pretty pale. But not scary pale. It was prefect. I moved my eyes to his. They were crystal blue. Like the ocean. Also perfect.

"Take a picture, it will last longer"

I smiled and looked away. We pulled up onto the snowy lake and hill. Nathan parked the car and we stepped out. We both hated coats, and it was snowing like crazy. All we had were hoodies. He wrapped his arms around me, and the other was wrapped around a small pink box. We made our way to the top of the hill. Nathan spun me around and I heard him open the box. He threw something black over my neck. I smiled and waited for him to hook the clasp. Once he did, I turned around and saw his own necklace. It was half a heart, and was labeled "Hers" I widened my eyes and looked down at my own. It was labeled "His". I opened my mouth in amazement and wrapped my arms around Nathan's neck.

"Oh my God Nathan, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you!!!"

"Haha I love you too Rainy"

We stood there for about 30 seconds. Not once moving. I just wanted to stay like that forever in Nathan's arms. Nothing could hurt me.

I love him.
