These past few months have been okay. They've actually been pretty great. Mary has been doing well with Angelica, and I've been doing well myself with the two little ones while Sonny works. I've had some help here and there from Connie and Freddie. It's been wonderful. The summer weather wasn't so bad, but I had to hear the complaints from my husband every night at dinner. I don't mind them though since just hearing his voice makes me smile. Since March has passed, Carlo has tried to better himself a bit. We've given him a little bit of credit here and there. He came and apologized, but a part of me didn't know whether or not I was ready to forgive him yet, and he understood that. So he left it alone. I did as well since I'd rather not think about it myself.

Today was an odd day. It wasn't hot, but it wasn't cool. Marlon, Vincent and I were just lounging around waiting for Sonny. Marlon was just in his shorts and Vinny was in a tee. I was in one of my short sleeved dresses. I was getting a bit worried when he didn't come home. He'd been gone for a while. I was a worrisome and lonesome wife. My worries came to an ease when I heard the front door open. "Oh Marly, daddy's home!" I heard my husband basically yell. I then watched as my shirtless son run to his father's voice screaming 'daddy'. I giggled a bit. Even Vinny's face lit up. He took after his brother. All smiles and full of laughter. I saw my husband come around the corner. He had Marlon in his arms. "Vinny daddy's home little guy. How's my little man?" He said as he playfully pinched his cheek. He cooed at his father. Sonny was full of laughter and such. "Oh I didn't see you there. Hello my beautiful wife." He gave me a kiss. "Hello Mr. Corleone. How was your day?" "Good my dear. How was your guys' day?" He said as he sat down beside me. Placing his arm around me. "Well we watched Sesame Street then Mama watched Bewitched and All in the Family. Oh I also prepared for tonight's dinner." "That is?" "Lasagna. I can put it in soon if you're so hungry." He smiled. "No wait til like five." I looked at his watch it was only three thirty. "Pops let yous come home early?" "Yeah he was too hot. Complaining non-stop as Mama kept bringing him more drinks. She had enough and told us to go home." I smiled. "Sounds like my father. Hates being hot. He loves his air conditioner. He even keeps it on in the winter time." He gave me this look. "You're being serious aren't you?" "Remember before the AC he kept the windows open? Well now since we bought him this he never shuts it off. It's like he's living in Antarctica. He loves it though." "I guess so. So I was talkin' to Connie and she wants to take the boys." "When?" I asked. "She'll be over in half an hour. She and Carlo are coming to get them." I sighed. "That's fine. I was talking to Tom this morning." I paused for a moment. "And?" "He wants to come over tomorrow. Says he's in need." Sonny knew what I meant. "So what did you tell him?" "I said he could come over." He placed my hand on his inner thigh, then squeezed. "Oh San." "Santino!" He chuckled a bit. "I'll wait. Your hair looks nice today." "Thank you baby. So does yours." I said as I ruffled it.

He then placed my hand on his knee. I rubbed it a bit. He moved a bit. Then we were surprised by Connie and Carlo. "We're here a little early. I hope that's alright." They appeared in the living room. Marlon screeched with laughter and jumped on his father's legs. "Car-Car and Auntie Connie." It beat me that he could say "Auntie Connie" but not Carlo. Sonny looked a bit in pain as our thirty pound son jumped on his leg. Connie then relieved him by taking him off. He then handed Carlo Vincent. "Marly you be good for Auntie Connie." He clapped. "Yes Mama, Marly be good." I smiled as I got up to give him a kiss. Then I went over and gave a kiss to Vinny. "We'll be on our way now." "Alright take care of my kids." She smiled. "We're taking them for two days. Is that alright?" I nodded. "Okay see you then." She said as they left. I went and locked the door. "San why are you locking the door?" I came in silent. I then shut the blinds. "What are you doing?" He asked with a hint of confusion in his tone. Once they were all shut I came back to the couch.
