It was a long few months. Summer's are always annoying. I get my husband and father complaining about the heat. Now I even got my son complaining. Just like his father and grandfather. We saw a new movie during the summer. It was with David Bowie. Little Sonny was excited about that. It was called Labyrinth. It was more of a kids movie but anything that has to do with David Bowie she's a fan of. Vinny has been okay. He's had a few minor set backs, but he's managed to deal with them just fine. Marlon and Little Sonny have started school and I'm so proud. My two munchkins were in university. I felt so old. Rafi started playing hockey too so that gave us something to do every other night. He's actually pretty good and it makes him happy. I was happy that he was happy.

Sonny and I were coming back from the doctor's office. I just had a heart checkup. It was always on days I didn't wanna go. So that means I don't wanna go any day. We pulled into the driveway. He let me get out first. I had just finished sucking his dick in the car. He was doing his pants back up. I got the mail out of the mailbox as he was coming around. "You wanna fuck in the living room?" He asked as we unlocked the door. I was confused to as why it was unlocked. I opened the door and heard people screaming. It sounded like my children. "Marlon I'm gonna kill you for making me go through this!" It sounded like they were in the living room, great. Sonny shut the door quietly. I wondered what she were talking about. "Babe what's going on?" He asked as we took our shoes off. "I have no idea honey." We decided to go in and see what they were doing. We couldn't see them at first. I let him go around first. She screamed. He looked at me. He looked as if he saw a ghost. "What?" I asked as he turned back. "Uncle Sonny stop looking!" I wondered what he was looking at. He didn't stop. I came around to see her giving birth on my living room floor. "Marlon what the hell?" "You guys weren't supposed to be home for another hour." "We got in early. What's going on?" Dad looked at me. "Santino stop looking and she's having a baby." I almost fell over. "A baby? What? When? How?" He looked over to them. Sonny had to sit down. So did I. I just watched as my grandchild was being delivered. "We'll explain later. It's just hard." "You've been pregnant for nine months and haven't told me?" "Mama I'm sorry it's just I didn't want you to get upset." I sighed. "I'm a grandma at thirty six. Oh god." Sonny laughed a bit. "Santino this isn't funny." He placed his arm around me. "I know but it kinda is." I was a bit nervous. I now kept thinking about what if she was going to die like Em. I didn't wanna watch this. Sonny pulled me back down. He knew my worries. He leaned into me. "It's gonna be okay. She's not gonna die." I started to cry. He grabbed my hand. "Mama why are you crying?" Marlon asked as he held Little Sonny's hand. "Personal reasons Marble. Don't worry about it son." Sonny said as he comforted me. I think I was more upset at the fact they were having a baby than hiding the pregnancy. "You guys hiding anything else? Have you been going to school?" Marlon looked at me. "Mama this is the only thing we've kept from you. I swear to you. We don't go to school today. It's a day off. Like from our schedule. Tomorrow we have school." I leaned on Sonny's shoulder now. He just rubbed my arm. "How long have you known dad?" I asked as I tried wiping the tears away. "The whole time." I felt a bit more betrayed now. "You told them but not me?" That made me cry even more. "Mama I will explain later when you're not in this state. What happened at the doctor's?" He was trying to distract me. "He said I was fine for now, but I did need to take my pills more often. Like twice a day instead of once and dad needs to as well." He nodded. He heard the baby cry. I heard that cry too and remembered the day they were all born.

Marlon helped Connie with the baby. "I have a?" Sonny asked as he handed me a tissue. I wiped my eyes. I saw the baby, then looked over to see if she was alright. I was relieved to see her sitting up against the sofa. She seemed fine. Marlon looked at his new child. "You have a grand..." He choked. Little Sonny looked at him. "I wanna know. Hurry up Marly." He stopped choking. "You have a little Marble." I chuckled. "So it's a boy?" I asked. "It's a boy!" I had a grandson. Oh how lovely. Admitting I had a grandson made me feel so old. Sonny on the other hand was old enough to be his great grandfather. "I don't wanna be called Grandma. That's all I'm gonna say about that." Marlon laughed. "Is Nana fine?" "Yeah, it doesn't make me sound so old." Dad just laughed at me. "Cannoli you sound just like your mother. If she were still here she'd want the same thing. What are you gonna call Mr. Horndog over there?" Sonny looked a bit offended. "Well what about Poppa?" Sonny smiled. "Sounds better than grandpa." He said with a chuckle. Dad shot him this look. "I'm a grandpa and that's cool." Sonny shook his head. "Yeah sure it is." Dad sat down beside us. "So you two think of a name?" Little Sonny smiled. "Well, he wouldn't let me name our kid Jareth because he said that wasn't cool. He said our kid would get beat up like he does. Since Marlon is supposedly a "loser" name which causes kids to get beat up." I was a bit offended. "Marlon is not a "loser" name. It comes from a very talented man, who is very handsome and successful. I could have named you Todd or something stupid like Claude." He laughed. "Well I'm glad you didn't. I would definitely have been beat up more if my name is Todd." "Good because Marlon is just nice. You wouldn't suit Todd anyways." He just chuckled. He brought the baby over to me. "We decided on Atticus. It's a classic from a classic book. Which is great one by the way." "What book?" Marlon looked at me. "To Kill A Mockingbird. You said you read it before. Remember you gave me the copy Grandpa gave you?" Sonny laughed. I just rolled my eyes. "She's only seen the movie. She couldn't read the book so that's why she gave it to you." I crossed my arms. "Why must you always bring that up? Guess you're not getting any later." He kissed my cheek. "You know I'm only kidding. What's his the middle name?" Marlon handed Sonny our grandson Atticus. "His full name is Atticus Marlon Vito Corleone." "That is a nice name. I thought Marlon was a loser name? If I told Marlon about what you said Marble he'd get hurt. Especially since he loves you kids." Marlon looked at me. "You know Marlon Brando?" I nodded. "I even had him too." He looked shocked as Sonny handed me our grandson. "Wait what?" Connie helped Little Sonny up and onto the couch. Marlon went over to her. Just making sure she was okay. I held onto him. He was adorable. He looked just like Marlon and Sonny. I remember when I had my little Marble. He was so small just like this. I couldn't get enough. He gave me baby fever all over again. "Oh Sonny I wish we could have more." He looked at me. "San, we would honestly have like twelve kids which we don't need. Eight is enough." He kissed my cheek. He was right. I couldn't handle twelve. I mean if I didn't miscarry some we'd probably have close to twelve. I knew my eight were enough, even if two weren't actually mine. I still treated them like they were mine. They both didn't have mom's in their lives. So I was theirs too.
