Modern One Shot
*********************************Rachel (Ruffnut) POV
"This is gonna be awesome!" I yelled.
"Yeah! Although I wish Chicken would come" Terry (Tuffnut) replied.
Terry and I were about to go skydiving for the first time. His idea. A plummet towards death. Who wouldn't want that.
"For the last time, your chicken can't come" I sighed.
"And why's that?" He questioned.
"Because she's a chicken" I stated as we boarded that plane that we were supposed to jump out of.
"That's racist" Terry stated.
"What the- How the heck is that racist?" I questioned.
"Well it is to Chicken!" Terry defended.
"That's not wha-" I started before being interrupted by a lady who was trying to instruct is on how to make sure we do this safely.
We came here to jump out of a plane, not worry about our safety.

Rachel POV
"Why am I wearing a backpack?" Terry asked.
"Because it's the parachute and it will keep you safe" A lady explained.
"Why would it be a backpack? I'm not going to school. Wait. What if I land on the school..." Terry said to himself.
"You're not gonna land on your school" The lady replied.
"You can think that, while I hope for the best" Terry responded.
The lady walked away and mumbled, "I really don't get paid enough for this...."

Rachel POV
"3...2...1... NOW!" I yelled as Terry and I jumped out of the plane and into the clouds.
"GERONIMO!!!" Terry yelled as began to free fall downwards.
"WHOO!!!" I exclaimed as I did the same.
"I FEEL LIKE I'M FLYING!!!" Terry exclaimed with excitement. He began to do a series of flips as I laughed at his goofy attitude.
We enjoy the fall but when we got to the point when the parachute was supposed to come into play, we had to pull the wire.
"Which one do we pull again?" Terry asked me.
"The lady said to pull the blue one" I replied. (I'm totally making all of this up as I go along😂)
"Got it!" Terry and I pulled on the blue wires of our parachutes and our parachutes sprang open.

Rachel POV
"So how was it?" I asked my brother.
"Awesome! Even if I didn't land on our school, it was still awesome" He responded.
"Good to hear" I replied.
We opened up the door of our green Toyota truck and I started the car.
"Ready to go home?" I asked.
"I guess. I can't wait to tell Chicken about my flying though" Tuffnut replied.
I rolled my eyes and began to drive home.
