IM SORRY OK

I woke up with a pounding headache, last nights makeup and dress still on, and in a very strange bed. I slowly lifted my head so not to make myself go dizzy or throw up, taking in my surroundings. I could barely remember a thing from last night, I remember there being a party...

And then I remembered. Luke had organised a party for me, and then met some wonder woman while I was getting us drinks. This led me to assume I was in his house still. The room was empty, slightly messy, which was to be expected from a house full of boys. There were band posters on the walls and dirty laundry on the floor. I sat up carefully as I heard a quiet knock on the door.

"Mm, yes?" I moaned, holding my head and closing my eyes. The door creaked open and Beau peeked his head around the door. I was sure glad to see him and not his brother. "Hey Beau..." I sighed before rubbing my eyes and forcing a smile.

"How you feeling?" He shut the door behind him and came to sit next to me on the bed, putting an arm around me, immediately making me feel ten times better and perfectly safe.

"Rough, to say the least. What happened?" He chuckled quietly before composing himself with a cough. He shook his head and looked around, almost refusing to go into anymore detail. "Nice room, now tell me what happened?" He sighed and looked me in the eye seriously.

"You flipped. What can I say, Bailey? You flipped, went pyscho, you trashed the place. It's a good job that Mum left, otherwise she would have killed you." He tried to joke, but funnily enough I didn't feel like joking about.

"I'm so sorry, Beau, I really am. Clearly I can't handle a drink. I'll pay for anything I broke, I'll clean up, and then I'll be gone, don't worry." I smiled weakly up at him, tears building in my eyes. I couldn't believe what I had done, I felt so ashamed, and crying in front of Beau wasn't how I wanted to start my morning. He kissed the side of my head before pulling me closer into his arms.

"Oh, Bailey. Please don't cry. You were drunk, it was a mistake, don't worry about it. And as for you leaving, you're not going anywhere. I won't allow it." I looked at Beau, tears trickling down my cheek as I tried to pull an 'oh really' face. He wiped my tears away and nodded, cupping my face in his hands. "Yes, really young lady. Now go have a shower, you can put some of my sweats on, I'll leave them outside the door, and then I'll make you breakfast ok?" I smiled softly and nodded.

"Thank you, Beau. But you don't owe me anything." Despite this, he ushered me towards the bathroom, not taking anything other than a yes for an answer.

~ LUKE'S POV ~

I paced back and forth outside Beau's room, I could hear faint mumbling, but nothing clear enough to make out what they were saying. I couldn't believe how last night had gone, it was all my fault. But luckily for me, she didn't know everything that had gone on, and if I could help it, she wasn't going to find out either. I liked Bailey, and I wanted her to like me back, but something was telling me I had lost all chances of ever getting her to be my girlfriend.

The door opened and I stopped in my tracks, anxiously waiting to see who was leaving the room. My breathe caught in my throat until I saw it was only Beau. I sighed and threw my head into my hands, grunting.

"You gotta let me see her, Beau." I tried to barge past him but he stood firmly in front of the door, his arms folded across his chest. His face serious and judging.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Luke. Plus, she's having a shower. Why don't you go see if your girlfriend's ok?" He suggested, I rolled my eyes, the anger building up in me.

"She's not my girlfriend, Beau." I growled at him. "It was a drunken mistake, do you really think I'd do something like that on purpose?" I almost begged him, he was supposed to be my brother, I wanted him to believe me, but by the looks of it, there was no persuading him.

"Take a hike, Luke. I know what I saw. Imagine if she saw you, huh?" His voice rising, clearly becoming aggitated with me as he gestured to the room behind him. I gulped, Bailey could never find out what I did, she would never trust me again. She would never talk to me and I would lose my best friend. I took one more look at Beau before grabbing my jacket off the counter and storming out of the house.

I'm sure it's all obvious to you what Luke did, but what do you think?! If this gets 10 votes tonight, I'll update it straight away again!
