Authors note: HEY EVERYONE!!! Sorry for being MIA for so long, but I am back and ready to continue this story and the ones on my ao3 account! Now for this story to continue I have hit a small bump in the road, I forgot who I paired Robin with in the beginning. So I am asking you guys your opinion! I put a poll at the bottom of the chapter on if I should give Robin a romantic partner. Give me your opinions and thoughts! And with that, I am happy to be back now let's start the show!!! Sorry if it is not very long, I hope you like it!

Disclaimer, I own nothing.

No One's Pov:

After the night they had you would expect the hero teens to all sleep in, well you would be wrong. As the sun rose so did Roxy and Kaldur, both ready to spend the early morning training while their fellow hero's slept.

This of course gave them a great time to bond again.

As they sparred Kaldur offered the first words while dodging Roxy's kicks.

" So, I heard you are the leader of your own team now."

Roxy smiles as she continues to spar, her body moving on autopilot from years of training, as her mind wanders to her titans. Sure, they are no Young Justice, but they are something more to her. While Young Justice had been her first official team, the Teen Titans were the team she created with no help or influence from anyone else. No bat family or Justice League giving their recommendations or using their name to help. Her team is all her own, sure they can be goofy and drive her insane, but they have become her family and she wouldn't change a thing.

She looks at Kaldur and says, "Yeah, they are loud, chaotic, messy, and drive me up the walls at times"

She pauses for a second and Kaldur does the same, waiting, watching as she forms her words.

"But they also always have my back, I know that if I leave a part of me open, they will be there to cover me. I also know I can count on them to bring me down to earth when I get to lost in a case. To remind me to eat or sleep or bath, to remind me to have fun. And I know they trust me to do the same. We aren't perfect, we get cocky and mess up, but at the end of the day we have each other, we are a family."

Kaldur looks at his old teammate, he remembers when they were younger and she would be reckless and overconfident in her skills. He also remember how much fun they would have, the movie nights, the patrols, the beach days. He remembered her being more carefree and now, he sees how much she has grown up. He wishes he was there to see it in person, to help guide her, but he is no less proud of the leader she had become. The leader he knew she was always meant to be. Young justice was his team, just as the Teen Titans is hers.

Kaldur walks forward and rest his hand on her shoulder, bringing her out of her head to look up at him. And in that moment, with the rising sun and calm atmosphere the two elders come to a silent moment.

An understanding.

A respect for those who have grown up and adapted, all so they can protect those they care about.

In that moment they both smile, and are just happy to be there, with each other, with their friend.

To be continued...
