"Are you ready?" Claire asked Jim as he handed her the phone.

"I..I guess so." Jim replied as he looked at the tiny device in his girlfriend's hands. "Do you think they're gonna take what I tell them the right way?"

"Well you saw how well our parents reacted." Claire pointed out. "And at least we don't have to kill goblins just to prove our point."

Jim have a small laugh as he watched Claire hit the video chat app she had installed since they started their journey to New Jersey. It had been a while since they had seen their friends and family before leaving Arcadia and he was anxious to hear from Toby and their other friends. Jim's smile widened when his best friend's face appeared on the screen and immediately took the phone from Claire.

"Hey Tobes!" He yelled happily.

"Jim!" Toby exclaimed from the other side of the screen, a wide smile on his face. "Oh my gosh you finally got signal! We've been trying for weeks to call you but the calls wouldn't go through!"

"Well we managed to get some good signal out here, Colorado is amazing!" Jim chuckled and motioned for Claire to come over. "So how has your summer been?" He asked, anxious to hear what his friend had been up to.

"Kind of boring, nothing has happened recently aside from the repairs we've been making to the city." Toby replied. "Oh and Claire's mom actually got the city to come together so you could explain to everyone what's been going on!"

"Wait, my mom did what?" Claire asked, taking the phone from Jim as Toby moved from the camera to show them numerous people seated behind him. "Whoa..."

"Yeah! Everyone has questions about the weird stuff has been going on and have questions for the trolls!" Toby explained as he came into view again. "Mostly those questions are from Steve and Eli, but not all. By the way, I think Dictatious has been eating Nanna's cats again."

"I'd ask how many but I'm too afraid to ask." Jim muttered before giving his friend a smile. "Alright, I'm ready to start explaining."

"Alright then, we attached the phone to the projector and speakers so the audience could see and hear you better." Toby said with a nod as he moved aside to let Jim see the crowd. "You're on Jimbo!"

Jim gulped nervously when he saw the size of a crowd and tried to push down his nervousness. "Uh...hi...everyone in Arcadia. Umm...so some of you might not know me or knew I existed, and some of you did know me but don't recognize me because I look a bit...different."

"Blame Merlin." Jim heard Toby mutter.

"My name is James Lake Jr, but most of you know me as Jim Lake or Jim Lake Jr. I was a student in Arcadia Oaks high school, but I'm not anymore due to this physical change I went through. Until several months ago I was just a normal high school student who was trying to pass his Spanish and math classes, take care of my mother and dreamed of having a more exciting life than the one I was leading. One morning, my best friend Toby and I took a shortcut through the canals to avoid getting late to school and stumbled upon a pile of rocks that I could have sworn was calling to me." Jim said and glanced over to Claire, who motioned for him to continue. "It turned out that those rocks were the remains of a troll, like the ones you saw that day that the earthquakes happened and the sky darkened. And among the remains was a glowing amulet that was calling to me. Later that day something I heard something in my basement and-"

"Master Jim? What's going on?" Jim stopped and turned to see Blinky walking over, attempting to rub the sleep from his eyes.

"Uh...talking with Toby and giving an explanation to the people of Arcadia so they could have a better understanding of trolls and what happened?" Jim answered sheepishly.

"Well, could you at least keep it down? Some trolls are trying to get some rest before tonight." Blinky said with a yawn. "And perhaps try not to bore them to death with the entire story."

"Oh..well..everyone, this is my mentor Blinky." Jim said holding the phone up so those watching could see the yawning four armed troll. "Anyways, he's the one who came to my home along with another troll named Aaaarrrggh (Jim moved the camera to said troll, who waved) and told me the amulet I found was mine to keep and meant I was a Trollhunter."

"I think you should try explaining what a Trollhunter is." Claire suggested. "They'll be wondering what a Trollhunter is if you are now one and are walking among them."

"Oh, good idea. Ah a Trollhunter is a champion of Merlin, yes the Merlin who also...is responsible for my new appearance." Jim said, handing the phone to Claire and stepping back to show his full appearance. "I really didn't ask to get turned into a troll, but I would have died ten minutes into fighting that giant troll with those large horns. So...any questions?"

"Can you at least explain what was with the earthquakes and why the sky turned dark that day?" A familiar voice asked as a familiar face popped into view of the camera. "Toby already explained it to some of us but I think it would be better if we heard it from you and got a better explanation."

"Of course, Eli." Jim said with a small chuckle, recalling Toby mentioning earlier the majority of the questions were going to be asked by Steve and Eli. "Those tremors everyone felt were from a sorceress called Morgana who was attempting to darken the sky for Gum-Gum, which are evil trolls. What she did was that she casted a spell called "The Eternal Night", which allowed all trolls to be on the surface during the daytime and it was supposed to last forever."

"So...it was like an eclipse?" Steve asked as he popped into view next to Eli. "That's kind of what it sounds like, and I think I saw something like that in a TV show."

"I suppose that is one way to put it." Blinky said with a nod. "But luckily the Eternal Night spell ended when Morgana was somewhat killed. Let us hope no one with dark magic decides to attempt to start it up again."

"One evil sorceress is bad enough." Claire muttered and Jim nodded in agreement.

"Anyone else have any questions?"
