Requested by babyscumbags to write something on Strickler

“Good afternoon students,” Strickler greeted his class as they entered the classroom. “I hope you all had an exciting summer.”

Some of his students nodded or greeted him back, not even bothered by the fact that he was in his troll form. Once each student was seated at their desk, Strickler stood in the front of the classroom.

“Alright, let us begin our first lesson of the new school year. Fist off, do you have a history text book on your desk?” Some students nodded while some others loudly replied “yes” and some others held up their textbooks. “Good. Now,” Strickler grabbed the metal trash can by his desk and placed it in front. “Throw them away.”

“Uh...are you sure Mr. Strickler?” One student asked. “Professor Uhl won't be happy if-”

“I spoke with Uhl about this two nights ago and he agreed to let me do it.” Strickler replied and nudged the trash can forward. “Toss them in here. In all my years of being a teacher I've disliked how misinformed and outdated textbooks have became, and since I've been alive for numerous important events of history such as both the World Wars, the United States Civil Wars, the Australian Emu War, the time period where Britain had been settling in numerous areas of the world, and even the time the Roman Empire was expanding.”

The students reluctantly got up from their seats and tossed their textbooks into the trash can before Strickler moved it back towards his desk and turned the projector on.

“Now, since the events that happened in the beginning of the summer, I was asked by some of your parents and by the principal to explain the true events that went on in history.” Strickler began as he switched off the lights. “As you all know, trolls have existed for centuries, being a part of the various folklore of certain regions. Some have viewed trolls as evil creatures that lived under bridges to act as toll collectors or gentle giants who lived in the woods and gave advice to the locals if they came to them for help with an offering of food or treasure.”

“So we're going to be learning troll history in class as well?” A different student asked.

“In a way we are Brenda, but for the most part I will be teaching you what really happened in history that never went into the books. But sometime this school year I will be organizing a club that specifically focuses on trolls and other mythological creatures and to talk about their history.” Strickler replied and gestured to the image on the whiteboard. “Now, let us start in the very early ages, or as you humans call it: the Stone Age.”
