he caught me by surprise, "w-what? why.. why do you like me?" my throat got dry and i didn't know where to look. i played with my hands and hyunjin started to stumble on his words, "i-i guess my f-feelings for you started to develop when i first saw you.. i know that it's weird and that i shouldn't like you.." he trailed off.

a hasty knock came from the door which made both of us look in the same direction. none of us could say anything before the door opened and, what a relief, changbin and jeongin came in like knights in shining armour.

it's not that i didn't like hyunjin but my heart belonged to changbin.. and besides, im a choi, if i was together with a hwang of royalty then war would break out earlier than expected.

changbin and jeongin were breathless, exhausted, from running away from the guards, "w-why would they attack us?? we didn't do anything wrong! i swear to the power of jae if that happens again im gonna sue," changbin exclaimed while breathing heavily. jeongin patted his back and swallowed the saliva that had been built up, trying to make his throat less dry from running, "hi guys. how's it going?"

i looked at hyunjin, he looked back at me and we both turned our heads back to the others, "eunsan, come here please," changbin said, "i need you.. i've been without your presence for too long and i wan-" i walked over to him and hugged him like i meant it. in all honesty, i wanted to kiss him but you know.. hyunjin was there.. i didn't want to hurt his feelings even more than i already had.

jeongin 'awed' and wiped away his fake tears, "you guys are just the cutest." if we were back home in azrai, changbin would've given jeongin a death stare, but the case was different now. he didn't care about the comment that jeongin had made, he just wanted to embrace me.

"we should go. we found hyunggu and he told us that the king, your father, had unfinished business and that minhyun had something to do about it. i don't want you to get hurt," changbin explained quietly. i looked up at him and then at hyunjin, "hyunjin.. i have to tell you something," jeongin then realised, "oh no."
