eunsan;

we sat and drank the tea while talking about unrelated things. he then remembered why he wanted to talk to me, "eunsan.. i need to know who you are," his eyes turned from happy to serious in the matter of seconds. i gulped, "i can't tell you. you'll hate me.." my voice trembled, "you'll kill me.." i whispered, "that's ridiculous, i would never.." he trailed off. in that moment he realised who i was, "you're a choi, aren't you?" he whispered and i could barely nod because i was so nervous.

"tell me," he said, "tell me everything you know," my hands started to shake, "im, uhh- i- i think im going to faint." and then everything went black.

changbin;

i sighed, "i can't believe that we just got kicked out," jeongin gave me a look, "well, it's better than being executed."

we sat down on the road outside the back entrance and waited for better times. i guess the lord and saviour jae saw us that night because in the distance we could see a familiar face. chan. he was carrying some oranges towards the palace for the hundredth time and it looked tough so i decided to help him once again.

chan got surprised seeing the two this late, "what are you guys doing? it's dangerous, you should be sleeping!" i just looked at him, "then why are you up?" chan sighed, "it's my work and they needed fresh oranges until morning so here i am, doing my duty."

"well, good for you pal.. we just got kicked out from the palace and now minhyun stole my girl," "ahh, that's not good. do you have somewhere to stay?" jeongin shook his head, "nope, hyunjin was supposed to help us but minhyun caught us before we could sneak out," chan ahh'ed again, "you could stay with me then. our house isn't that big but it's something."

me and jeongin were forever grateful for the kindness chan had in his heart.

eunsan;

"wake up.. wake up sweetheart.. i won't kill you i just have to know about your family.. i will let you go.. wake up please.." a dampened voice said from the distance. my eyes opened and it was hard to get adjusted to the light.

"here, have some water." the same voice said and helped me to drink the liquid. i started to cough, not prepared that the water was going down the wrong way, "sorry," i said. he hummed, "it's fine."

my eyes adjusted and minhyun's hand was on the small of my back reassuringly rubbing in circles. i probably fainted from the built-up nerves..

"im sorry if i scared you.. but i still have to get my revenge somehow.." his hand left my back as he stood up to think, "i don't know where your grandfather is, i haven't even met the man." i confessed, "im gonna stop talking now or otherwise im going to reveal too much," he turned around hastily, "reveal what?" his voice was demanding, like i had to answer, but i didn't - i couldn't. i just shook my head, "tell me now or im going to lock you in here until you do," i sighed, "i will get into more trouble if i tell you the truth, minhyun," now he was the one who shook his head, this time in disbelief, "what could be so bad that you won't tell me?" "reality."
