changbin;
all three of us got startled when one of the guards from the temple knocked on the door abruptly, asking us to come with him. we just looked at each other, chan still tired from this morning and jeongin rolled his eyes and said yes.
"here we go again." i mumbled.
chan's house was a bit far from the temple because he usually just delivered to the market. it takes about twenty minutes to walk but it's obviously way quicker with a horse. since the guard didn't come with a horse (stupid choice bUt i gUesS), we had to walk those twenty lovely minutes.
"what's your name?" jeongin asked the guard who was quickly walking in front of us, almost trying to escape from us, "park daewon." his voice was deep. really deep. almost as deep as the sea but it was also somewhat calming. we didn't say anything after that so he just huffed and sped up. he must've been frustrated oH.
anyways. we got to the palace and the guard, daewon, knocked on minhyun's doors loud enough for the whole kingdom to hear.
the doors opened, "are you mad at me? well sOrrY for telling you to do your job," the prince sighed and threw his hands, "did you bring them?" daewon pushed us in front of him and bowed, "thank you, you can leave."
a l r i g h t, that was more dramatic than an episode of housewives.
minhyun scanned us with annoyance in his eyes, "come in," jeongin walked in first, then me and chan, "i know you've been waiting but we're here!" i said dramatically, trying to get the atmosphere in a good mood.. that didn't work very well after i saw my angel lying down on his bed, "what have they done to you?" i rushed up towards her side and hyunjin stood up to give me space. she smiled. that sweet, precious smile that i love oh so much, "they haven't done anything bad if that's what you're wondering. minhyun locked me in here," she gave him a look and rolled her eyes, "and i can't get out if i don't tell him everything."
jeongin told chan that he could take a seat since he looked awfully tired, "thank you.. i appreciate you." jeongin blushed, he'd never gotten a comment like that from someone he'd just met, "you're welcome." he whispered with a soft smile. he came back to reality and went up to the others. minhyun stood by the end of the bed, looking at changbin and eunsan talking about what was going on while hyunjin stood a little off the side, still looking at eunsan like as if she was his. he knew that she wasn't but he could always dream, right?
"just tell him so that we can go back to searching for.. uhm.. you know who. we have to find a way to inform your mother and your brother as well," jeongin sighed, "this is a mess." (like this storyline ahshhd)
minhyun couldn't say much. his gaze shifted like he was watching a tennis match.
"ok fine. minhyun, please sit down because this is going to take a while." eunsan began. i couldn't take my eyes off of her. it was painful to be in this situation but it was going to be even more difficult in the near future.
"my father, king of azrai, has been gone for a couple of years. now you're thinking, what is azrai? well, it's a kingdom in another dimension. to explain it better, we're from the future," minhyun's eyes were glued on eunsan's as she kept on talking, "i, however, come from south korea and i live a little bit outside of the capital, seoul. a few days ago, everything was normal. i was at home, bored, and i wanted to explore my country. i walked to the station and changbin was there," she took a pause to look at me, remembering the time when we met, "he took me to azrai where i then met mr. park and jeongin," she smiled at jeongin, "mr. park is a close friend to my dad and he kept the country in order while people were searching for him. he told me that i had to take over the throne but i obviously can't do that since im not ready. so we came here to find my brother, kino, also known as hyunggu or changwoo.." she trailed off.
minhyun's throat got dry, "changwoo..? one of my guards?" we nodded, "we thought that he maybe could help us but he didn't know that much so our plan was to ask other people around here but you caught us, you caught eunsan, before we could leave," i explained, "you're a choi.. is it your dad's fault that my mother died?" he gulped and looked at eunsan, "i don't know minhyun.. i really don't. but if we could just find my father and talk to him then maybe we can figure something out.." she was scared, i could sense it. she knew if she said anything wrong, it would be the last of us. minhyun was hurt and he was only moments away from showing his true feelings.
"when. not if. when i get the title of your majesty in this kingdom i will take my revenge. you can leave, but remember that i will find you no matter what. especially you, eunsan."
hyunjin went up to his brother and tried to calm him down and told us to leave. "stay safe."
jeongin quickly went up to chan who was sleeping in the chair, almost falling off. the young boy chuckled even though the sudden circumstances. "what's going on? oh, we're leaving? alright." chan rubbed the sleep out of his eyes before walking out.
her eyes started to tear up.. i knew she didn't want this to happen. she just wanted to find her dad and go home.
