i woke up to the sound of chirping birds and water boiling. my eyes had to get adjusted for a few seconds before i understood that minhyun was making tea again. my wrists and ankles were still tied to the bed and i could still feel his kiss lingering on my forehead from last night.

he noticed that i was awake and turned around to give me a smile, "good morning. ready to tell me your secret now?" i sighed out of frustration, "no. i can't."

he put the kettle down and sighed as well, "i don't get it. why can't you tell me? i won't kill you, you've figured that out by now," a smile made it's way to my lips, "perhaps i'll tell you if my friends are here," i stated. he looked at me with a stern look, "alright. deal."

he went outside for a minute and i could see shadows discussing outside. the other person was just nodding and bowing and then he suddenly walked away.

"i just told him to find your friends." he explained and closed the door behind him. i just nodded.

a knock came from the doors a few minutes later. minhyun sighed and got up to answer, "what do you want?" it was hyunjin. what a relief, "i was just making sure that eunsan is safe. i was the one who dragged her here, i should be with her," he made himself comfortable and walked in. his eyes widened when he saw me tied up, "what did you do to her?!" minhyun whined, "she's fine, i promise. she just has to tell me her secret and then she can leave but of course she wanted her friends to be here so, my guard is getting them."

hyunjin rolled his eyes and sat down by my side, "how are you? have you gotten any food?" i shook my head and told him i just woke up, "but it's almost afternoon. how long was she out?" he asked and turned to look at his brother, "a little bit more than twelve hours i think." "that's not good.. give her something to eat."

he untied my wrists and held my hand, "im sorry for everything. have you told him anything?" his eyes looked at me reassuringly, "no i didn't tell him anything, he found out by himself.. he knows that im a choi so he's going to keep me here until i tell him everything." he carefully nodded and looked back at his brother that was preparing some food, "i want you to go home. i don't know you very well but this isn't where you belong." i tried my best to give him a smile but i was too scared of what was going to happen. yes, minhyun knows me as a person now but that doesn't mean that he won't take revenge on my family.
