"i'll call her" i say. everyone nods.

i press her contact and it rings.

and rings.

and rings.

still ringing.

guess what? it's ringing!

"i'll try!" daniel says, knowing him and her have the closest friendship she might pick up for him.

it rings.

and rings,

"hello?" a female voice asks.

-daniels pov-

jack and corbyn jump up and down, while zach and jonah give each other a hug. i shush them quietly.

"ARDS!" i yell, i hear a laugh.

"dans!" she says quietly but still excitement in her voice.

"where are you? zach has tried to call you."

"oh, yeah. sorry i was hanging out with my brother."

"oohhhhhhh okayyyyy. so where are you now?"

"why are you asking? i'm just driving, i'm like 3 minutes away from my house."

"oh just the boys have locked me in the bathroom. i'm bored."

jack and jonah start laughing. zach hits them.

"oh, that's weird. why did the boys lock you in the bathroom?"

"OH NO! THEY'RE COMING. BYE." i hang up.

we all burst out laughing.

"why did we lock you... in the bathroom?" jonah asks.

"i don't know."
