it was dusk and we still were alone. it's warm, surprisingly for arkansas.

"i wonder where the boys are." i say aloud for the second time today. he shrugs.

we were in a random car parking lot, as we both wanted to take some photos for instagram. we were being 'wild teens' as my parents would say.

i decided to not say anything about the group chat. it's non of my business.

i had changed into a white shirt with blue ripped shorts. 

he instructed me to go into a trolley cart and to act like i'm riding in it. i do so.

jack sat down on a bench near a light pole. he gestured me over to sit next to him.

i rolled my eyes and skipped over to him.

as i sat down, he rested his head on my shoulder. "you're like a little puppy, always wanting attention." i said with a chuckle.

"oh sorry." he said, taking my sentence wrongly.

"NO, i mean, it's cute." i replied.

he stared at me for a while, "what?" i ask.

"can i kiss you?" he asked.

i'm actually in shock. why does he want to kiss me? oh what can i lose? "sure." i say softly.

i hope this doesn't end up bad.

he pressed his lips against my lips.

i don't know what to do, this is my first kiss.

do i move my lips? isn't that what they do in movies? do i add tongue? no, i don't even know what i'm doing.

we pull apart.

"sorry." he apologises.

"no, i just don't know what to do." i respond.

"what do you mean?"

he turns to face me.

"that, okay, i'm going to be completely honest. that was my first kiss. i don't know what to do."
i should not be scared to tell him. he's my friend, or, more than friends? i don't know how to relationship.

"oh okay. that's fine." he quites down.

"i still like you though." i add.

"really?"

"i am, myself, a shipper of jarden."

he laughs. "secretly me too," he stands up, "what about i take you on an actual date?"

i smile, then i nod. then i realise it's dark so he probably can't see me nodding. "i would like that."
