Alana's Point Of View
Another day, and another stories. Today, It's the day. Me return to Liberty, yet it's exciting and shaken me a lot.
"Mom, do you think it's a good idea?" I asked referring about returning to Liberty.
Mom patted me in the shoulder and gave me an assuring smiles.
"Yeah. Besides, I'm actually working on something important. With you getting back to Liberty, it could helps me." She explains.
I give her a confused look, "What works? What are you working on?" I questioned curiously.
She breathed deeply, "I've been doing some research about the kids that caused Hannah's death. The victims, I need to hear the truth." She replies.
I shake my head, "Why aren't you telling me before?" I asked in sternly.
Me and mom has been in a great term, yet she didn't say anything about this.
"I though it's not a good idea since you're going back to Liberty." She says.
"What? You know my friends is asking me about the favor thing?" I asked surprisingly and her eyes shots up.
"You're getting late, take my car and be nice." She kissed me on the forehead and walked away.
From my home to Liberty, wasn't that far away. It tooks like fifteen minutes to drive. I parked the car and closed the door.
I walked to the lobby and saw the student's murmuring about me.
"That's Hannah Baker sister!" I heard a voice whispered to her friends.
"She's returning, how is she so brave?" Another voice says and give me a dirty look.
"She's probably coming here for catching attention."
And that was it. I know this will happened.
I stopped from where I was going, "How dare you talk about my sister like that. You fucking asshole!" I shouted in annoyance.
"We're not scared of you." A pitchy girly voice says in confident.
She has a bob haircuts, and blonde. She was pretty much shorter than me, and she has that smug look on her face.
I stepped towards her and smirked, "And you're thinking, me returning back here would hear what people said about me? Oh no, sweetie. I'm better than that, you should close you're mouth-"
I stepped towards her and she look at me with regrets in her eyes.
"Before I closed it myself." I continues and stormed off proud of myself.
As I walked on past people, all the eyes we're on me, at first I was getting okay with it but they started to called me with freak names.
"What is you're problem!" I scolded.
I had my arms crossed and glared hotly at every single of the students.
I saw Alex Jessica Clay and Zach.
Zach. We used to get pretty close, we dated for a couple of months. Our relationship we're really healthy, but not so long until he started to avoid my texts during the summer.
"Hey what's going on?" Alex Jessica and Clay says hurriedly on me.
Zach was standing frozen, he looked at the ground and his eyes filled emotionless.
"This kids are fucking stupid. They made fun of my sisters, they told me I was a freak and they said that I was a attention seeker-" And with that, Clay crashed me with a warm hugs.
I was surprised at his actions, he was so gentle and he smells really good.
Alex and Jessica smiled at me and Clay.
"I'd catch up you two at canteen, Is that fine?" Alex asks and I pulled away from Clay's warm hugs and nodded.
"Yeah, see you." They walked over.
Zach was rolling my eyes at me and Clay and he huffed. "Really, Lana? Is that it?" He asked annoyedly.
I looked at him as if he was the stupid one. "Is that it? You've been ignoring me since the summer!" I sneered to him and grab's Clay hands to mine.
Me and Clay walked in our hands intertwined. Again.
He lets go of my hand when he spotted Skye in her locker.
"Hey, Lana." Skye walked planting a fake smile on her face.
I smirked widely, "Hey, Skies." I cheered.
She shots me a cold looks and stepping her shoes hardly.
"Skye, stop." Clay said in demanding.
Skye look at him in the eye, "Stop? You've been ignoring me and you're hanging out with Lana? You hold hands with her?" She said in unbelievable.
I step between Clay and Skye, "You should stop bothering him, he doesn't like you're presence." I bitterly commented.
Clay grab my wrist tightly and pulled me away so that I'm behind him.
"No, Skye. She was forcing holding me." Clay quickly responds.
I stare at him madly, "You what?" I asked. I was upsets the fact he was lying to her.
Why, Clay?
Skye laughed widely, "You heard him." She responds.
Clay gave me an apologetic look but I avoid it.
"I should get going then." I mumbled disappointedly and walked away.
I walked to the cafeteria finding Alex and Jessica.
"Where's Clay?" Jessica asked.
"I don't know, busy with Skye." I Innocently responds shrugging my shoulder like it's no big deal.
Alex gave me a patted on the shoulder, "You two are close lately, am I correct?" The brunette boy asked.
I chuckled, "Yes, as a friend of course." I added. I don't know if I was lying or not.
Jessica give me a wow looks.
"Definitely more than that." She says and winked at me.
"I don't really want to caused any drama's. I've had enough of it." I admit. I was being honest, I don't need drama's anymore.
"Well we do too. Aren't we?" Jessica asked while furrowed her eyebrows and Alex nodded agreeing.
"Welcome to Liberty, Lana. We're going to start over, and we're going to rocked this up." Jessica and Alex says together.
I smiled a little, "I hope so."
"Returning back to, Liberty aren't ya?"
"Yeah. But do you think it's a good idea?" I asked my sister while she's standing only 2 feets away from me.
"Of course. Just remember, always keep you're heads up. Trust who you trust, and stay away from untrusted people." She assures.
"I promise."
