Kyra's POV

The first days after I woke up we're the hardest, my hideout wasn't far from the river and there were some edible plants I recognized not too far from it. It wasn't hard to start a fire either, I used my galra hand for that. What was the hardest was finding the energy for it.

Over the next week I went to the crash site and took some sheet metal, it was easy enough to bend into a bowl thanks to my hand and knee, so now I can boil water or make stew. I also managed to set a few traps to hopefully catch an animal, nothing yet. I made a makeshift bed out of grass that I need to change every few days to keep soft. Overall I was doing well, I had to keep to the trees when I go out to avoid the Galra Haggar has sent to recapture me. I'm worried she's planning something for if they don't find me.

I was hunched in a tree near the makeshift Galra base there was no one outside and no one has been looking for me. I heard someone talking inside thanks to my heightened senses, your senses get better after the Galra take you it's like a safety mechanism.

"Is everyone off the planet, Haggar will destroy the planet in 20 Dobosh's (a.k.a 20 minuets)"

Oh gosh this was it, I would die here.

About halfway into my time left, all Galra we're gone, I heard a mechanic rumbling and I ran. I don't want to die and if this is a Galra ship I'll kill them and leave. I was praying for a miracle when in a clearing stood a Black lion. That-that is a lion of voltron. We need to get out of here.

"Keith why did we stop, we were supposed to be headed back hom-" that's when I heard ticking, it was getting faster and louder. Haggar must have had explosives rigged.

This time I ran to the problem. I tackled the black paladin to the floor of his lion just as the explosion hit. It sent metal shards flying I blocked most of them from the guy. I now had tiny cuts covering my arms and legs, I was still blocking the shards when a large one hit my left side I grasped it in pain as the man was about to get hit. I screamed in my head at the lion, and it stirred. The metal lion heard me? It closed it's mouth shielding us from the rest of the explosion. I placed my blood-covered hand onto the floor of 'black' and mentally spoke to it.

'I know you can hear me, just as you hear the other lions and your paladin , you need to leave this planet we only have 3 Dobosh's before Haggar destroys it' my breathing slowed and I could feel my skin soaked in blood. I need help or I'll die. I looked over to the black paladin- wait the red paladin is here too? Oh well, he held fear in his eyes as he looked at the blood. I pulled myself into a sitting position by the wall as 'black' took off.

"BLACK WHERE ARE YOU GOING" the red paladin screamed trying to get to the pilots seat and falling a few times before making it up the ramp thing we were on. The planet exploded just as we started leaving knocking me to the ground as the lion started spinning. I grabbed part of the wall as the paladin drove the lion out of the explosion, thank god it was the black lion because the other lions might not make it through without it's speed.

"So much for going home, hang on guys we need to hurry" he spoke into his helmet. I pulled myself up, but the black paladin (wait the red paladin is piloting?) pushed me down "stop moving or you'll make it worse" I just nodded, noting that his all white hair looked funny. I heard someone over the intercom that sounded like on older man.

"What happened I saw the explosion" the paladin responded with "it wasn't my fault Coran-" Coran must be the older person.

"We need to get home quick, the explosion caused injuries" I heard an angry child scream. "Sorry Keith-", so Keith is the red paladin and Keith is a hothead. "I don't know what happened, but I found someone, and they saved Shiro and me from the explosion and they're badly injured" I heard Coran speak as my eyes started feeling heavy. Keith called out into his headset "I can't do anything because the castle is gone-"
