    Cross's P.O.V.

"We're here!" mewed Flameclaw as they entered a broken-down barn.

"Are you kidding me?" growled Shift. "How did I not see this barn earlier?!"

"I don't know. You tell me," taunted PaperJam. Shift faced him, growling.

"No time for silliness, you idiot!" hissed Shift. "Have you forgotten about our mission?"Cross whipped around and gave them his death stare. Shift and PaperJam immediately fell silent, but they still gave each other nasty looks.

"You call this a camp?" asked Cross, facing Flameclaw. She turned on him, her eyes narrowed.

"Yes," she mewed, flicking her tail in annoyance. "Do you have a problem with that?"

"No, its just... we're used to living outside, not in a barn," grumbled Cross. Flameclaw shot him a dirty look before leading them into the middle.

"Since you're going to be living with us for a while, I think you should get to know us," mewed Flameclaw. "As you know, I'm Flameclaw, the leader of ThunderFox. This is Storm, Ray, Patch, Turtle, Mud, Badger, Claw, Poppy, Light, Night, Stripes, Honey, Bee, Rain, Petal, Bone, and-!" Flameclaw was cut off by a voice yowling "I'm back!" Everyone looked back and saw a white tom enter the barn. He had a green eye and a purple eye, and his two front paws were black. "And that's Cray," finished Flameclaw. Out of all of them, Palette looked the most stunned. Cray looked back at her.

"Palette?" he asked, padding up to her. Palette just stared at him. "Dude, that's harsh," meowed Cray. "Did you really forget me that easily?" Palette smiled.

"Cray!" she meowed, jumping on him.

    "Hey, Palette!" Cray meowed back.

    "But... how...?"

"I'll give you time to sort things out," meowed Flameclaw. She signaled for Cross and the others to reunite. "The rest of us will get some sleep." As Flameclaw and the others left, Cross's group followed Palette.

"How did you escape?" asked Palette. Cray smiled.

"Well, I followed the rest of you into the portal, but for some reason, I was separated from you guys. I came here, and ThunderFox was my only chance of survival. And now, here I am," explained Cray. "Do you plan to stay here? You know, as prisoners?" asked Cray.

"What kind of question is that?" scoffed Goth. "Of course we can't stay here! We've got a mission to complete. We're leaving as soon as we can, isn't that right, Cross?" questioned Goth. Cross glanced away and sighed.

"I don't know..." he muttered. "After all, what can we do? We're stuck here with nothing to do. When we find out something, I might consider it. For now, all we need to do is survive," murmured Cross. Dream came up to him, a worried look in her eyes.

"Jeez, Cross! When did you get so serious and dramatic?" wondered Dream. Dream shot him a mischievous look. "Ooo, look! I'm Cross, and if we don't find something soon, we're all gonna die!" mocked Dream, pulling a dramatic pose. Everyone burst out laughing.

"Yeah, dude!" laughed Cray. "You've gotta lighten up!" Cross felt a light blush rise to his face. He faced Dream and chuckled.

"I gotta admit, Dream," he mewed. "That was pretty funny!"

    "You're welcome," she mewed.

"Come'on, let's get to bed. We need to explore this area more in the morning," he meowed. The others nodded a headed off. "And Cray," mewed Cross. Cray turned around with a questionable look on his face. "I'm glad your alive." Cray smiled and nodded in return.

"Same here, Cross!" meowed Cray as they both headed towards the prisoners den.
