    Fresh's P.O.V.

"My watch says that there is a hotel for us to stay in up ahead," said Cross. "We should stay there for a little bit." Shift glared at him and growled.

"It's pretty clear that the hotel is ahead of us. The only direction we can go is forward, Captain Obvious!" Cross rolled his eyes and proceeded, sighing in annoyance. Fresh stayed behind for a little bit. She opened her locket and sighed. Maybe if they brought their world back, they could also bring her parents back!

I hope so... thought Fresh as she tried to catch up with the group. She kept looking at her locket, remembering the tragic day her parents left her. She hadn't noticed that PaperJam was right behind her.

"Is something wrong?" asked PaperJam. Fresh whirled around and stumbled.

"Um... no! It's none of YOUR business!" growled Fresh. PaperJam put his hands up in the air.

"Woah, I was just checking. You just seemed so... depressed," said PaperJam. Fresh looked away.

"Why do YOU care?" questioned Fresh. "I'm just a nerd, and your a jock. You shouldn't care about me, so mind your own business!" PaperJam just shrugged and walked beside her. Before going further, PaperJam turned his head around and glanced at her.

"You know, you're pretty brave to say that to me. Usually monsters like you would either run away or straight up tell me out of fear. You're different," said PaperJam before walking ahead of her again. Fresh gapped at what PaperJam said. Had PaperJam actually praised her? That was... very strange. Well, at least for a jock. Once they got to the hotel, Fresh closed her locket and went inside with the others. What they saw in there was very unusual.
