   Goth's P.O.V.

The group stood there in silence for awhile, wondering if this was a dream or not.

"So, let me recap on what has happened so far," said Goth. "Our world was destroyed by a weird wizard person who called himself 'Glaze the Mage', so the only way escape was the portal. Next, a cat made of stars visited us and gave us gifts, told us what to get, told us to go to an AU like Altertale or Underfell, then exploded," Shift glanced and Goth while polishing her shape-shifting bone weapon.

"Yeah, pretty much," she muttered. "But how are we supposed to get to the other AUs?" she asked. Everyone looked towards Cross's direction, since he was given the gift of travel.

"Uh... My knife can now create portals to different AUs," he said, tapping something on his wrist. It projected an image of some kind. Cross turned it around and around, scanning it, then glancing at it in confusion.

"What... what does AU stand for?" asked Beats. Oh, right, Goth muttered in his head. He knows nothing about this kind of stuff,

"AU stands for Alternate Universe," explained Goth. "Also, how are we supposed to use our shapeshifting powers if we don't know how to use them?" Shift glanced at all of them.

"I was born with shapeshifting powers, dummy!" growled Shift. "I can teach all of you how, but I'm too lazy to do it right-!"

"Can we just go already?" huffed Palette. She looked as if she had gotten a million years of sleep. She looked so energized. "I want to save mom and dad...," her voice trailed off. PaperJam put his hand on Palette's shoulder and sighed.

"I know you want to save mom and dad, but you need to rest a little bit. And, before we go, which AU are we going to start with?" asked PJ.

"Altertale doesn't look very promising," growled Cross, looking at an image projected from his new watch thing. "I can't pick up any signals of any orb-like things in Altertale, let alone the Orb of Healing. Underfell is our only option,"

"Not Underfell!" shrieked Fresh softly. "I heard that AUs with 'fell' in them are really hard to get through. They don't accept travelers so easily!" Shift threw an icy glare at Fresh.

"Do you want to save our world, or not? Because if not, you can make your own little portal to some other world at watch Glaze the Mage destroy the Multiverse!" snapped Shift. Fresh jumped back in fear.

    "S-sorry!" stammered Fresh.

"'Sorry' doesn't help us save the Multiverse! Cross, can you take us to Underfell now?" Shift asked, crossing her arms and turning to face Cross. Cross nodded and took out his big knife. He swung his knife against what seemed like thin air, but then a glowing, red portal appeared. Inside seemed to be what looked like a forest with snow all around it. Cross looked back at them and nodded. They nodded back.

"I'll go first," said PaperJam bravely. He walked up to the portal and dashed through it.

Huh, thought Goth to himself. I guess that 'gift of bravery' Destiny was talking about is really effecting him! Cross jumped into the portal, followed by Shift, Dream, Beats, then Fresh (after she got the ice pack and the blanket and stuffed it in her backpack.). Goth was about to go when he realized Palette hadn't gone in yet. He turned around and saw her staring into the distance. She's probably thinking about her parents, realized Goth. He walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder.

"I know your grieving for your family, but we have to go. We will save them and the Multiverse. I promise," Palette turned around, and Goth gave her a soft smile. "Come on," he said. Palette nodded. Then, they jumped through the portal together.

    Dream's P.O.V.

When Dream entered the portal, she fell to the ground. She got up covered in snow. She shook the snow off and looked around her. She saw Cross glancing at her, smiling and chuckling softly.

"Stop it!" grumbled Dream, a light yellow blush rising to her face. Cross just rolled his eyes and turned around. Dream looked at her surroundings. Everything seemed so weird. The ground seemed snowy, but it was... red... "Where are we?" she asked. Cross tapped his watch and an image appeared with words on it.

"We're in Snowdin, Underfell," said Cross. He looked around and saw a wooden thing and a bridge. "That's our only way out," he stated, pointing toward the bridge. "We should-!"

    CRACK!

"Wh-what was th-that?!" stuttered Beats in fear. Everyone stood still. Then, they ran toward a bridge.

    PING!

They froze in mid-air, and their souls were surrounded by a red glow.

"Hey," rasped a deep voice behind them. "It rude to ran away from a friend," Ther was a long, silent pause. "Eight..." muttered the voice. They started to turn around. "That's way more than we-!" the voice broke off. The owner of the voice was a short, plump, skeleton with a golden tooth. He was wearing a black jacket with a big, fluffy, white hood. Underneath the jacket was a red sweater. He was also wearing black shorts with two big, yellow streaks running down it. His shoes were black with red outlines and he wore yellow socks. He stared at the eight of them in shock. In his left eye socket, there was a single, glowing red eye forming a mist of red. "Uh..." he hesitated. "Who are you?" he asked. "Haven't seen any of you before,"

That's weird, thought Dream. I though monsters from Underfell were mean, and that the wanted to... She slightly shook her head. No, don't think that! We have bigger problems right now!

"Let us go, or I'll-!" snapped Shift, before being cut off by Dream.

"I'm Dream, and this is PaperJam, PJ for short, that's Palette, PJ's sister, that's Fresh, that's Goth, that's Beats, that's Cross, and that's Shift!" explained Dream, pointing at each and everyone of them. The short skeleton stood there with a expressionless face.

"Let me guess, your Sans, Fell Sans," growled Cross. The skeleton didn't look very amused. The skeleton nodded.

"Just call me Fell," he rasped. "You must leave, now!" The red glow disappeared, dropping them onto the pale-red snow.

"Why should we?" snarled Shift. "You can't tell us what to do!" Fell threw a burning glare at her.

"You must do it for the sake of your life. A horrible sickness has been spread by strangers who came here a few days ago, killing many monsters," Fell hesitated, then sighed. "Even... even my brother..." The group glanced at each other, noticing how fearful and depressed Fell looked.

"Who was your brother?" asked Dream. Fell looked at her, sadness mingling with fear in his eyes.

"Papyrus. He was the ruler of Snowdin and Second in Command. Undyne was the Head of the Royal Guard, but then she went crazy due to the sickness. Since I am Papyrus's brother, I'm Head of the Royal Guard until Undyne gets back into shape," Fell quickly looked down in defeat. "I don't think she be able to make it, though. The sickness has gotten so bad that she might... die. I can't control the Royal Guard! I'm just a lazy sentry!" His eye started to glow again.

"We can help!" exclaimed Dream. The group gave her a 'What did you just do?!' look. Fell glared at her.

"How? The sickness has already spread, and it has killed almost half of us," growled Fell. Dream smiled.

"We are going to help, whether you like it or not! We will figure out a way! I just know it!" Dream huffed, determination gleaming in her eyes. Fell raised a non-existing eyebrow and shrugged.

"Welp, I'm gonna go look for more intruders. And..., good luck. You know, for attempting to get rid of the sickness," rasped Fell before teleporting away.
