Palette's P.O.V.
As Palette dashed down the stairs and into the kitchen, she almost ran into her father, Error, also known as the PE teacher at Underhigh.
"HeY, PaLeTtE! WaTcH WhErE yOu'Re GoInG!" yelled Error in a glitchy voice before walking out of the house, getting into his car, and driving away. Palette shrugged and walked into the kitchen, only to find her mother, Ink, packing her art teaching supplies. Ink was also known as the art teacher in UnderWing High. Ink looked up and smiled at Palette. Before Ink went out the door, she turned around to talk to Palette.
"The food is on the table, Palette, and don't let PaperJam skip school again, okay?" Ink asked, throwing an icy glare at PaperJam as he came down the stairs. PaperJam gave Ink the 'I'm inoccent' look, but Ink just shook her head and sighed.
"Don't worry. With me around, I don't think he will be able to skip school!" exclaimed Palette. Ink nodded and left the house, leaving only PaperJam and Palette to face each other. They headed toward the table, sat down, and ate there food. "You heard what mom said. No skipping school this time!" Palette snapped as soon as they sat down. PaperJam just rolled his eyes, leaned back in his chair, and crossed his arms. After they ate, Palette got up and said "Come on. Get your stuff and let's go!"
"Hey, where's Cil?" asked Palette. PaperJam shrugged.
"I dunno. She said she was going to school with dad," explained PaperJam. Palette shook her head, walking towards the rack with their backpacks on it.
"No. Dad left when I came here, and there was no one in his car," she said. PaperJam narrowed his eyes and glanced to the side.
"I guess we'll find out where Cil went when we get to school," he said as Palette grabbed their backpacks and ushered PaperJam out the door.
