You groaned as you felt the sunlight beam on you. Being new to this whole "sleep" thing, you thought it was pretty nice. You didn't want the bright sun to disturb your peaceful sleep. The thought of today marks the second week of being on Earth hit you. How'd you know? You've been counting days.

You left Homeworld because you were extremely tired of taking orders from the same bossy leaders and seeing the same old faces. There was no adventure on the missions the Diamonds usually sent you on. This caused you come to Earth to explore things, to have actual adventures, to try something new!

(Your P.O.V)

Just the other day, I overheard people talking about Mt. Ebott. According to them, people who go there never return. I don't really know if it was true or not. So today, I have decided to climb Mt. Ebott to see if their statement is a myth or a fact. I've also heard that there are monsters down there. Since Homeworld and Earth kinda seem like polar opposites, I have hypothesized that the monster on Earth are way different than the "monsters" on Homeworld.

I looked down at my gem as I thought, 'Today is brand spankin' new day!' Without warning, the tree branch I slept under fell on to me. I tried so hard not to yell in pain as I felt the enormous tree branch's impact on me. I climbed from under the branch and stood up. 'Rough start,' I thought, 'but okay!'

This is the time of day humans called "morning." It's a weird name, but I'll get used to it. As I walked up the hill, I felt the sun smiling down on me. It's rays warmed me up like a kitten bundled in a blanket. 'It's a nice day,' I thought to myself. 'What could possibly go wr-'

My thoughts were cut off when I didn't feel the ground below me. It took me a minute to register the fact that I was falling. I had no time to think about what I could shapeshift into. Quickly, I shapeshifted into feather. Yeah, you heard me. A feather. It wasn't long until I lost my patience. I just wanted to hit the ground already. Shapeshifting back into my regular form, I realize that I wasn't far from the ground.

My eyes were squeezed shut, having no time to shapeshift back. I was hoping that the impact wouldn't be strong. Oh, how stupid was I. The impact was strong. Not as strong as that branch that fell on me earlier today, but still strong. I checked my gem, making sure it was alright. I got up. Underneath me were these things humans call "flowers." I don't know what kind they were, but what I did know was that they were beautiful as all heck. They're were the most beautiful things I've seen on this planet so far! I looked up to see a flower staring straight into my nonexistent soul. I jumped back, startled.

(Flowey's P.O.V)

I have been staring at this girl for 5 minutes. Not once has she looked up at me. She didn't even notice my presence! I was about to release the anger I contained until she jumped back, startled by my "sudden" appearance. "About time," I scoffed. I forced myself to put on a cheerful face. "Howdy!" I exclaimed. "I'm Flowey, Flowey the Flower!"

Right before I began my next sentence, she stated, "My name is (Y/N). Hiiiiii!" I tried so hard not to scold her for interrupting me. "Hmm... you're new to the Underground, aren't cha?" I asked. She excitedly nodded her head. I felt my anger boil up inside me. She's supposed to be scared! Doesn't she know that she's in a world full of horrible, miserable monsters? Stupid human.

"Golly, you must be so confused. Someone ought teach you how things work around here!" I proclaimed, "I guess little old me will have to do so. Ready? Here we go!" We both entered battle mode. "See that heart? That is y- Hey, wait a minute! There's nothing there! Are you playing games with me?!" I shouted. The anger that I attempted to contain inside me was about to explode like a volcano.

"Oh yeah- Erm... I'm not a human. I'm a gem! I don't think I have a soul. I think only humans and monsters have them." She explained. This isn't possible. This has to be a joke! I couldn't hold it in no more. I gave her a forced, enormous grin and yelled, "HoW dArE yOu PlAy GaMeS wItH mE, fOoLiSh HuMaN! nOw DiE!!!" My bullets surrounded and closed in on her. I cackled evilly as I watched her shut her eyes and coward in fear as the bullets came closer and closer to her.

(Y/N's P.O.V)

I squeezed my eyes shut, awaiting the pain. I didn't come to Earth to deal with this heckery! The next thing I heard was a yelp from Flowey. I opened one eye to see a pair of... furry feet...? Did Flowey transform into... whatever he is now? I stood up straight and opened my other eye to see a totally different monster standing infront of me. Her height compared to mine made me feel small.

The white, furry monster began to speak. "What a terrible creature, torturing such a poor, innocent youth. Ah, don't be afraid, my child." She stated. I don't think I could trust her right away, after what happened a moment ago. She continued, "I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. I pass through this place everyday to see if anyone fallen down." She says. Before I could speak, she exclaimed, "You are the first human to come here in a long time. Come! I will guide you through the catacombs. This way!"

Her friendly voice made you slightly trust her. The fact that she saved you from poofing made you trust her even more, though. You couldn't resist not trusting her. So, to should your trust, you did exactly as she said and followed her through the catacombs. This is the start of a new adventure!
