Y/N's P.O.V

"What exactly are gems?" Sans asked. Yes, I'm pretty sure it'd be expected of me to be shocked or offended or something at this question, but in reality, I'm actually really happy! I've been waiting a long time for someone to ask me this question. My eyes lit up and a grin grew on my face. If I viewed my expression from Sans' point of view, I'm pretty sure I would look rather creepy. "I'm so glad you asked...!" I responded. For some reason, I sounded almost monotone as I said that. I cleared my throat, took a deep inhale through my nose, and began my explanation.

By the time I finished my explanation, Sans and I were at Grillby's. He offered to get me something to eat, but I declined the offer. I wasn't really hungry, despite the fact that I don't need to eat at all. Sans stopped eating and put his hand on his head. He looked as if he was stressed out, trying to do rocket science. Was my explanation really difficult to understand? "I'm sorry kid, but I still don't understand." He finally said. I didn't know what to respond with, so I just shrugged my shoulders and replied, "You will soon." After that, the only thing you could hear was the chatting of the other customers in here. How did everything between Sans and I get so awkward all of a sudden? Sans began eating his food once more, darting his white pupils over to me occasionally. Out of all the times he did this, our eyes only met twice. It got kinda boring, so I adverted my attention to the guy behind the counter. He was on fire.

I assumed that he was Grillby. Grillby stood there, cleaning the inside of a cup. I don't know why he kept cleaning it. "Grillby, put it on my tab." Sans suddenly spoke. I jumped at his words, not expecting him to say something at this time. I looked back at the fire guy, or Grillby, who nodded at Sans' request. As soon as he nodded, Sans and I walked out of Grillby's. It was pretty stupid for me to think that the awkwardness between Sans and I would've calmed down once we left the place, but the awkwardness just got heavier, since we were pretty much walking directly side by side. Many of the monsters we walked past didn't pay us any attention, which was a good thing. Maybe I should say something that'll calm it down? "That was really nice..." I commented. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't expect much of a response. "Heh, yeah." Sans agreed. Finally, we've arrived at his house. We both walked in at the same time, trying to squeeze past each other to get in first. You know what this resulted in? Both of us falling on after we 'successfully' squeezed through into the house.

Sans and I both got up at the same time. Sans stood there, rubbing his head as I went to go sit on the couch. I sat down and stared at the vibrant, motionless screen. It hasn't chanced since I last been here, hasn't it? It hasn't even been a second since I been here when I heard Sans plop down besides me. Today has been a really good day, especially since I've gotten to spend it with my two new friends! I laid my head on the couch, rethinking the events that happened to day. Which each passing second, my eyelids gotten heavier and heavier until they shut completely, putting me in a deep, comfortable sleep. Maybe this place and the monsters aren't bad after all...

Chara's P.O.V

I stood in the empty, endless void as I watched my little Y/N and that Smile Trashbag relax on the couch. I was pretty certain they both were asleep. Everything is going great so far! I just have to find out how I can get her to become weak enough for me to take control, and when. She is nothing like Frisk. Y/N is more powerful and more trustworthy than Frisk is. I wouldn't be able to beat her, even if I was in Frisk's body! This is why I need someone to help me execute this plan. I want her to kill all of these worthless monsters, making sure they feel disbelief in their last moments alive. Yes, this will be quite a wonderful show indeed~! Oh, how I wish I could choose any monster I want, but the only two who are able to see me are Sans and Asr-- I mean, Flowey. Of course, I already know that Sans has fallen in love with Y/N, so he's out of the question. So, of course, my only choice is Flowey.

Although, I do secretly like the fact that he's my only option. We both hate Sans with a burning passion, so seeing him look and feel so betrayed once he finds out that his precious, little Y/N killed all of these monsters. Nobody knows how hyped up I am for this! It was getting boring watching Y/N and that Smiley Trashbag sleep, so I decided to pay Flowey a little visit. Of course, he was where I expected him to be. I appeared behind him and cleared my throat, just to get his attention. He turned around and faced me. "Chara? What are you doing here??" He frantically asked. I chuckled a bit. Oh, how I love seeing him in such a fragile state~! "Asriel, oh my dear Asriel... for once, how would you not be a useless crybaby and help me with the execution of this plan I have~?" I asked in return. As I expected, he whimpered a little weak, pathetic 'no'. Why do I have to be the bad cop just to get what I want?

Black goop poured out of my pitch black eyes as I held a clean, sharp knife in my hands with an enormous, mischievous grin on my face. "Wanna think again, Asriel~?" I sung, as I let black goop dripped from my mouth. Asriel looked absolutely intimidated. He shook like a leaf in the wind as he cried, "Yes! I said yes! Ohh, please don't hurt meeee!!" How pathetic. My knife disappeared into thin air as the goop stopped falling and my mischievous grin faded a bit. I cleared my throat as I whispered. "I need a little help with this plan..."
