Y/N's P.O.V

Beams of blinding light exploded out of my gem as I tried to reform. I've just now recovered for my injury. Usually, I'd wait a while before taking form, but my unwanted, anonymous concern for Sans and Papyrus kept weighting me down. I landed on my knees once I finished taking formation. I looked around. Total black emptiness took place of the beautiful Waterfalls that I last remembered being in. Not a single speck of life was in sight. "Hello?" I called out. The only thing that responded was my echoes, which I assumed was mocking me. I got up and preparing to call out again, but then a voice I knew oh too well responded. "Oh, you're awake!" She replied, her voice filled with excitement. I spun around and met a young girl. A startled yelp flew out of my mouth as I fell to the ground once more.

I looked up. The girl had short, chocolate hair. Her skin was really creamy, so it made her rosey blush stand out more than it should. Her pear sweater had a single yellow line that shot in-between it. It was hard to look directly at her when you feel her crimson eyes shooting daggers into you. I stood up once again. For what felt like forever, we stared directly at each other. I wanted to look away, but I just couldn't. Why does every interaction I have with just about anyone have to be so awkward?

Chara's P.O.V

It has been 2 weeks since I 'poofed' her. Does her species really take this long to reform? I don't see the fun in waiting this long just to take control over someone's body. The tension between us began to rise as the urge for her to look away grew stronger. It was like we were having an unannounced staring contest. The most reasonable answer to why she wanted to look away was because I was reading her mind. Oh yes, I could see all of her thoughts and questions. At the moment, the amount of questions overpowered the amount of thoughts she had. I could tell she wanted to ask me all of the questions she had on her mind, which mostly consisted of the topics of where she was, what happened, and how long she was out.

Just as she was about to burst out, asking millions and millions of questions, I put my finger to her lips and hummed, "I will answer all of your questions later. The only thing I want you to know is that you were out for 2 weeks." Right after that was said, she fell on the ground and sighed, mumbling things to herself while shaking her head. Now that she's back, I wanna pay Sans a little visit, y'know, just for the entertainment out of it. As I turned around, getting ready to leave, I looked back at her and said, "I will let you relax... for now~!" I tilted my head, closed my eyes and gave her a creepily sweet smile. As I headed towards the portal I opened for Sans' house, I could feel her petrified face staring at my back, watching me leave the void. Oh, how I love spooking people~

Sans' P.O.V

I sat on the couch, staring blankly at the ground. My mind was clouded with worry and stress as I thought about all the bad things that could've possibly happened to Y/N. 'Maybe she's ignoring me?' I thought. 'Or did she get killed? She's probably just unable to visit me at the moment!?' Every thought that had the tiniest bit of positivity became negative within the matter of seconds. What has this person done to me? I'm worrying more about her than Papyrus! As each second passes, my worry and concern grows larger. I snapped out of my voice as soon as I heard a sadly familiar voice. "Hello, Sans!" She exclaimed cheerfully. Out of shock, I jumped out of the couch and looked up at her. "You... You!! What do you want!?" I yelled, demanding answers from her. All she did was chuckle in response, which gave me an absolutely horrible feeling.

"Were you worried about your little precious Y/N~?" sung Chara, the devil herself. As soon as those cursed words left her mouth, anger rushed over me. She didn't... did she!? "W-WHAT DID YOU DO TO Y/N!?" I bellowed. As always, she cackled evilly before going back through the portal she came through, leaving me angry and desperate for answers. I should've known that this would happen! Papyrus suddenly burst out of his room, looking at me with his concern-filled eyes. "SANS, WHY ARE YOU YELLING? ARE YOU OKAY? WHAT HAPPENED!?" He exclaimed. The concern in his voice was heavy. "Erm- Nothing! I was just, um, listening to myself yell...?" I lied. As much as I didn't want to lie to my own dear brother, I had to. I just couldn't risk it.

Papyrus squinted at me. He closed his eyes and shook his head as he retreated back to his room, slamming the door in the process. Gee, was he really that disappointed in me? But, I am not one to complain. At least he took the bait. Just as the door slammed shut, she reappeared in front of me. My eyes turned pitch black as the anger within me uncontrollably grew. "What. did. you. do. to. her?" I growled, my voice almost going monotone from the lack of emotion it had. Once again, she mischievously. That mischief... it disgusts me. All she did was shrug her shoulders and replied, "Oh, well, nothing too bad... yet."
