"The name's Sans. Sans the Skeleton." Sans introduced. His cold, bony hand shook my own. It felt weird, but it's okay. "Anyways, you're a human? Tha--" "I'm not a human." I interrupted. He let go of my hand. Did I make him flabbergasted? Sans then looked at me with his hand on his chin, studying me. "So that's why I didn't see your soul when you were fighting me." He said, still studying me. The way he was looking up and down at me made me feel uncomfortable.

For what felt like forever, he stopped. "I've never seen a thing like you. What are you?" He asked. "I'm a gem!" I enthusiastically answered. "I come from a planet that's far more different than the one we are standing on this very moment!" Sans stared me dead in my eyes. "Is this a joke?" he asked. "Because if it is, it's not very funny." I showed him my gem. "It's not a joke. It's real." I said.

Without permission, he touched it. The feeling of those cold, bony hands touch my gem made me extremely uncomfortable. His hands stood there as he said, "That's.... strange." He removed his hands, which made me feel relieved. I was weirded out, so I didn't say anything to his sudden actions.

Apparently, he decided it was okay to act like those weird things never happened. "Well I'm supposed to be on the watch for humans but I don't really care about capturing anybody. Now, my brother, Papyrus, he's a human-hunting fanatic! hey, actually, I think that him over there. hey, I have an idea. Go through this gate thingy. Yeah, go through. My bro made the bars too wide to stop anyone." Sans rambled.

I went through it with no hesitation. "Quick, behind that conveniently shaped lamp!" Sans then ordered. I didn't know why he was telling me to hide. I didn't listen to half the things he said. Even though I didn't know why, I still did it. I peaked behind the lamp that was weirdly shaped exactly like me. A tall skeleton appeared. He look about 6 feet tall! Sans looked at him, as if nothing has happened.

"Sup bro?" Sans said, almost immediately.

"YOU KNOW WHAT'S 'SUP' BROTHER! IT'S BEEN EIGHT DAYS AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T RECALIBRATED. YOUR. PUZZLES. YOU JUST HANG AROUND OUTSIDE YOUR STATION! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING?" boomed the tall skeleton.

"Just staring at this lamp. It's really cool. Wanna look?" Sans asked.

Wait is he about to expose me?

"NO! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT!WHAT IF A HUMAN COMES THROUGH HERE?" The tall skeleton boomed once again.

Is he always this loud?

"I WILL BE THE ONE. I MUST BE THE ONE. THEN, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL GET TO JOIN THE ROYAL GUARD!" The tall skeleton, whose name is probably 'Papyrus,' exclaimed.

Oooh, a Royal Guard! What's that?

"I WILL GET ALL THE THINGS I UTTERLY DESERVE! RESPECT, RECOGNITION, I WILL FINALLY JOIN THE ROYAL GUARD! PEOPLE WILL ASK TO BE MY FRIEND!" Papyrus happily exclaimed. At this point, it was becoming a ramble.

What's a friend? Are they important.

"I WILL BATHE IN A SHOWER OF KISSES EVERY MORNING!" Papyrus rambled.

Bathing? What's that? Where's Chara?This is insane!

"Hm... maybe this lamp will help you." Sans joked.
