As I knew doing it, she launched less fireballs at me until the ones she launched completely missed me. I clicked again. After three times of clicking it with a result of the fireballs missing me, she asked, "What are you doing?"

I clicked mercy again.

"Attack or run away!" she demanded.

Once again, I clicked mercy.

"What are you proofing this way?" Toriel questioned.

I was getting tired of clicking mercy, but I clicked it again.

"Fight me or leave!" she yelled.

It seems like I'm getting somewhere. I clicked mercy once more.

"I know you want to go home but..." she said.

I'm not giving up. Mercy.

"But please, go upstairs now..." Toriel pleaded.

Mercy.

"I promise to take good care of you here..." she promised.

I'm still determined to make her allow me to leave. Mercy.

"I know that we do not have much but..." she said.

Mercy.

"We can have a good life here..." she added.

Mercy.

"Why are you making this so difficult?" She questioned.

Don't give up, Y/N. Mercy.

"Please, go upstairs." she pleaded once more.

I'm think I'm getting through to her. Mercy.

". . . . . ."

Mercy.

"Ha ha. . ." she sadly laughed.

Mercy.

"Pathetic, is it not? I cannot save even a single child." Toriel stated.

Mercy.

". . . ."

I think I got through to her. Mercy.

"No, I understand." she said. "You would just be unhappy to be trapped down here. The ruins is very small once you get used to it. It would not be a right for you to grow up in a place like this. My expectations... My loneliness... My fear... For you, my child, I will put aside." She stated. Did I actually convinced her to let me go? Wow...

"if you truly wish to leave the ruins..." she started. "I will not stop you. However, when you leave, please, do not come back." I felt my heart shatter into millions of pieces. I don't wanna leave! I never wanted to leave! I was forced to make this choice! Once more, tears threatened to fall. I held it back, and instead, gave her a small, sad smile. Now I know why I felt that ball of pain in my chest and knot of regret in my stomach.

"I hope you understand." she said. Her eyes were full of sadness and betrayal. Why did I ever agree to leave her like this? She kneeled down me and spread open her arms. I ran to her and hugged her like my life depended on her. The five minutes we spent hugging felt so long yet so short. We let go of each other. Toriel stood up. "Goodbye, my child." she said. I watched her walk away. I watched her until she was completely gone.

Tears threatened to fall once more. This, time I let them fall. I hung my head low as pushed to door open. "Wow, you did great, Y/N!!" Chara cheered. She went from happy to concerned in the matter of seconds. "Are you okay?" she asked. I didn't respond. I just kept walking. It was cold, but it didn't effect me.

I saw a human walking down the snow road, crying. No other human have fallen besides Frisk. She has reset the timeline too much. Everyday, I wake up to the same things happening. It's basically hell. I want to put an end to this. I want to kill her. But the human that I see right now is pretty different... Her skin is (s/c), she has (h/c) (h/l), and she isn't wearing a blue and purple striped sweater.

I'm gonna assume that she has changed her look. She stepped onto the branch, which made a loud cracking sound. This was my signal for me to come from behind the trees and follow them. I had to tip toe so she wouldn't hear me. It's surprising how she didn't turn around after she took several steps from the branch.

I kept on tip toeing after her until she reached the bridge. I walked heavily in the snow, hoping she'll hear me approach. "What's that noise...?" She asked. It was working! But... her voice sounded really... different. It sounded much more gentle than the kid would usually sound. Wait, why did I say that?

There was another girl next to her. She seemed like a ghost. The ghost girl look similar to Frisk. The green and yellow striped sweater reminded me of... Chara!! It's Chara! Ooohoo, that dirty brother killer is up to no good. The unusual girl turned around, along with Chara and faced me. I stared her dead in her beautiful (e/c) ey- Wait did I just call her eyes beautiful? What's wrong with me?

I slowly walked towards both of them until I was one foot away from them. I summoned my Gaster Blasters, ready to attack. "I see you've came back in new skin, kiddo. Just because ya look different, doesn't mean I won't attack ya. You've kill my friends and my brother. You've made my life a living hell. It's time for me to get my revenge!" I boomed.

(Y/N's P.O.V)

I wasn't in the mood for this. I was already upset about forcing myself to leave Toriel and how heartbroken she seemed as she let me go. "Ooooh okay, bone boy. If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!" I roared. I summoned my weapon once more, ready for battle. "Y/N, you're gonna cause problems! Please don't fight him!" Chara pleaded. I dunno why, but her words sounded kinda forced. Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me.

"Stay back Chara!" I demanded. I just wanna be with Toriel again. But I'm not allowed to come back. This isn't the adventure I was hoping to have. I don't wanna fight! But I'm gonna do it. "Let the battle commence!" I declared.

(Sans' P.O.V since I have no idea what I'm doing-)

I'm honestly impressed. Most of the attack were dodged. I was nearly convinced she wasn't Frisk. Nearly. I still think she's that dirty brother killer. "Hey skeleton dude! Why did you attack me?" She questioned. "I thought you were... someone." I replied. If she was Frisk, wouldn't she know why I attacked her?

"Well, who?" She asked. "Nunya Bizness." I smirked. "Who's this Nunya Biz-" She paused. All of sudden, she bursted out into laughter. She curled up on the snowy ground, holding her stomach and laughing. This made me chuckle a bit. She has a pretty cute laugh... Okay, that does it. Frisk isn't this cute. I'm convinced that she isn't Frisk. That kid never laughs at my jokes. This kid? She's a whole new person.

After she calmed down, I held out my hand. "Sorry I picked a fight with ya. Should we restart and greet each other properly?" I asked. "Sure! I'm Y/N" said Y/N. "The name's Sans. Sans the Skeleton." I replied. We shook hands. I looked to the side of her to see Chara giving me a mischievous, devious smile. One eye-socket went completely dark while the other one glowed light blue. My eye-sockets went back to normal when I looked back at Y/N's beautiful face.

I wonder if there was a corruption in that last reset that made Y/N fall down her instead of Frisk. Eh, doesn't matter. She seems innocent, so I might as well enjoy it while I can.
