Percy's POV

Percy had gone on many missions with the Avengers over the last few years. He had fought Ultron which resulted in him meeting Wanda Maximoff who he kind of liked and meeting Vision who kind of liked her. Thor had gone off to Asgard and Hulk was MIA. Right then and there, Percy Jackson was sitting in a coffee shop sipping a coffee with extra creamer and his sea green eyes trained on what was happening outside. There was talking over the coms when Wanda said something. "You know I can lift things with my mind, right?" She asked the obvious answer lingering in the air.

"Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature." Percy added. Natasha spoke up. "Anyone ever tell you you're a little paranoid?" She asked. Percy tilted his head as if he were in thought. "Not to my face, why, did you hear something?" Wanda laughed and Percy smiled. He turned his head and zoned out. Steve said something. "Sam, take it." Sam shot something from his 'bird suite' and the fight began. They all stood up and walked out of the coffee shop trying to be inconspicuous. Suddenly, a giant garbage truck hit a bridge making it collapse and men with guns and protective gear stepped out of a car and ran inside. Talking began over the coms but Percy was in his own world.

He was either kicking the invading troops out of the way or knocking weapons out of hands with Riptide. Wanda jumped down from somewhere just in time to catch Steve as he fell from a building with her red witch powers. She looked over and smiled at him. "I looked over my shoulder." Percy laughed as she let Steve down. "I'm going back in." Steve said. "What about the gas?" Asked Wanda. Steve cracked his neck, "Get it out." Wanda directed the gas out of the building and turned it into nothingness, Percy saw the strain on the girls face and wanted to help, but he was needed elsewhere.

"They got away with the vile." Sam said. Percy and Natasha said it at the same time. "I'm on it." Before Percy got past the entrance, he heard an explosion and saw Natasha getting blown out of a truck. "What the..." He began. She waved her hand. "You handle this." She smiled before she punched a guy in the nose and kicked another. Percy ran off to try and catch the men that stole the vile.

He hopped over shopping stations, people yelling as the fugitives got away while the reckless heroes ran after. "I'm empty." Sam stated over the coms. Percy was to busy running after his guy to hear though. When they reached a clearing, a man pointed a gun at Percy and he positioned Riptide in a deadly attack stance. "Drop it, or I drop this." The man said in a heavy Nigerian accent. Percy took his own advice and looked over his shoulder to see another man carrying the missing vile. "I said drop it!" He yelled. The teenager reluctantly lowered his sword slowly and put his hands up. Suddenly, something shot one of the guys. Percy sliced the other one across the chest and slid to grab the falling vile. "Pay load secured." He said into the coms. Then he looked up at what had saved him. "Thanks Sam." He said seeing the drone. "Ah ah, don't thank me." "I'm not thanking that thing." Percy retaliated. "His name's Red-wing." Sam responded. "Still not thanking it."

Across the street, Steve was fighting Crossbones. Percy ran over and heard him say something about Bucky. That made Steve stop what he was doing, which gave Bones' the upper hand. He threw a grenade at him but before it could kill them, Wanda was there. She had trapped it in a red bubble of magic and was struggling to contain it. She lost control and it directed into a nearby apartment building, hitting one of the floors. Wanda looked up to see what she had done and placed her hand over her mouth in shock. Percy stared as well. The whole building was on fire.

"Sam, we need fire and evac on the fifth floor." Steve mumbled into the coms. A muffled reply came back but all Percy cared about was Wanda, who was crying. He went up to her and placed his hand on her back, just comforting her.

"What have I done?"

"It was an accident Wanda, it's okay." Percy mumbled. It was okay.

Back at the tower, Wanda sat in her room watching the news.

"...I mean, what kind of authority does Wanda Maximoff have to operate in Lagos..." Percy grabbed the remote from the nightstand and cut the TV off, silencing the angry reporter. "It's not your fault." He said frowning. Wanda shook her head. "Turn it back on, they were being very specific." "I could have done something about it. What's the worse a grenade could do underwater? Blow up a few bubbles?" Percy said.  The teenage girl shook her head. "But I lost control, and lives were lost because of it." Percy shook his head and sat next to her. They were about to talk more when Vision  came in. "Vis, we talked about this, use the door!" Wanda yelled. He frowned. "Yes but it was unlocked so I assumed... Mr. stark has a guest." He said.

Percy shrugged. "Who? He asked. "The Secretary of State."
