Isabelle's POV
"Isabelle, I have a mission for you." Natasha said, walking into the room. Isabelle looked up from her phone and bowl of ramen noodles. "Can it wait? I'm eating right now and I haven't updated my Instagram in weeks..." "Unfortunately I don't care. Now, suit up and go to the helicopter." Isabelle gestured toward her suit. "I never took it off." The Black Widow nodded and walked off. Isabelle sighed and strutted off behind her.
The helicopter took her to a small house in the middle of no where. "Why am I here?" She asked into the com. "We have intel that the terrorist, Bucky Barnes is in this house. Along with someone we think is helping him." Natasha stated. "Okay, so who's the lucky partner?" She asked. "It's a female, the rest isn't important. Just take them down." Isabelle wanted to ask for and find out why Nat was being so secretive, but she knew that if she were to be an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D she had to learn how to operate with no information. "Okay, I'm going in." The house was quaint and peaceful. As if the people who lived in it were normal.
She turned around a corner and saw an open window. She looked inside and almost screamed at what she saw.
Bucky Barnes was standing in his living room with a woman. That woman, was Xoe Kuplend. But that wasn't even the worst part about it. Xoe was smiling and holding a baby.
"Natasha, I need audio." The sound was activated and she listened in.
"I know that you want to leave, but we need to stay here for one more day." Xoe said with a smile. "I can't. I need to go, we need to go. I don't want to loose you or Sasha..." Sasha, that was her name. It was a girl. But the question still remained, when did they have a kid? And, "WHAT THE HELL! THEY HAD A KID!?" She said that out loud. Bucky's head turned and faced the window and stared at Isabelle with wide eyes. Xoe looked in his direction and glared. "Take Sasha and go. I got this." Isabelle backed up as Bucky ran out of the house. Xoe looked at her with pity and then fled to a back room. Bucky came out and threw a punch with his metal arm. "Isabelle! I'm coming in!" Natasha yelled from the com. Isabelle dodged another punch and talked in the com. "No, stop. I think Bucky knows who I am, go back to the tower, I've got this." She heard Natasha yelling at her but she shut the com off and sidestepped a kick.
"Bucky! Please! It's me, Isabelle, I saw the way you looked at me, you know who I am!" Bucky stopped fighting for a second which gave Isabelle leverage. She grabbed his arm and swung around him, flipping him over. He groaned when she pinned him to the ground. "Let go of me, or you'll regret it!" Bucky groaned. "Sorry, can't do that, you and Xoe are coming with me." Isabelle stated. "I can't let you do that, Isabelle." She turned around to see Xoe holding a bat in one hand and Sasha in the other. "Xoe, please."
A tear slipped down her eye. "I'm sorry, Isabelle, but we have to go." Before Isabelle could reply, Xoe hit her in the head with a bat. Isabelle passed out onto the grass. Bucky got up and grabbed the bat from Xoe. "We need to go, and, cover our tracks." Xoe's face grew sad. "I know, I've got this." Bucky nodded and handed her the lighter. She sighed and lit the side of the house on fire and walked away with her daughter and Bucky.
"I'm sorry, but this has to burn." She wiped a tear and kept running, "You, have to burn."
