Isabelle's POV
Being one of S.H.I.E.L.D's top agents gives you perks, so does having a web slinging badass partner that knocks out guards so you can sneak into places.
Right now, that was exactly what Peter Parker and Isabelle Valdez were doing. Bucky and Xoe's daughter, Sasha was being held in this S.H.I.E.L.D facility to keep her 'safe'. Really, Tony wanted a reason for Barnes to come back, to turn himself in for his daughter, and Isabelle couldn't stand it.
As much as she wanted to be on the billionaire's good side, she also was loyal to her friends, even Xoe. She wasn't bad, she was doing something good.
"When we were swinging down here, you told me about a power that you had." Peter said, breaking the silence. They had just entered the facility and were posing as high ranking S.H.I.E.L.D operatives on a mission to check on some holding tanks underground. If they took anything out, it was for inspection. Good cover.
"Yeah, when I was spying on Xoe and Barnes, I was surprised to see a baby. Anyway, she knocked me out and lit the house on fire. Instead of being dead, Hazel found me covered in ash asleep." Peter shrugged. "So a miracle?"
"No, this is more than a miracle. Peter, I should have died, I shouldn't be here right now." He sighed. "Well, your brother, Leo, he has powers, do you think..."
"I meant to tell you this on the way here but, I'm not an actual person. Leo and I's DNA match up because I was created using what Tony called the Reality Stone and was able to move and think because of the Mind Stone."
"The stone in Vision's head?" He asked, a little confused. She nodded, "Yes. Anyway, I have everything that's normal for a human female girl to have. Except for one thing." Isabelle stopped talking and typed in a code on a key pad and then walked in. "What are you talking about?" He asked when he realized that she wasn't gonna say it.
"Um, I can't..." It seemed like she was choking a little but she gulped it back down.
"I ah, can't have children of my own." It was an awkward thing to say around someone that she barely knew, but when she was around Peter, she felt like she could tell him anything. He kind of looked awkward and she smiled.
"This way. The sensors indicate that she's this way." Peter nodded and they ran into the room.
Narrators POV
Wake up.
Wake up.
WAKE UP PERCY!
The voice went booming in his head. It was strong, powerful, imitated god like courage. But it was to familiar. "Dad?" Percy asked. He wasn't actually speaking through his mouth, he was still unconcious, and in three minutes he would hit the ground and die, along with Wanda.
"Percy, you need to wake up. Use your powers, but you and Wanda can not die, you two are to important to the mission to die here today."
"But Tony..."
"Is coming but he will be to late. I have calculated all of the possible outcomes, but their is only one that can save you both. Percy, you need to create a wave tall and strong enough to carry you to safety and catch you."
Percy was confused, why was his dad helping him? But he didn't have time to think. "Now Percy, wake up!" The voice faded and Percy jumped back into consciousness. He screamed from the feeling of falling. His body had gone numb.
"Okay Percy. Focus, you need to save the day. You've got this." He closed his eyes and called upon all of the water around him. The water in the clouds, the water from the puddles on the ground, the water form sewers and sinks the water from the lakes and the oceans near him. When he couldn't take anymore, he molded the water into a wave large enough to catch them, then he used the last of his strength to hoist the gigantic wave up thousands of feet to catch them. He passed out again before he hit the wave and sunk deep into the water.
Leo's POV
He was about to cry. Why? Because he had lost to much that day. Xoe, his own sister and now Percy and Wanda.
"We have to help him." He said. Cap shook his head. "If Tony can't catch them then it's to late, there would be no use." Leo closed his eyes and let the cold tears fall. All of that pain. But instead of water coming from his eyes, they remained dry. He couldn't cry. Had he gone emotionless, or had he just cried all his tears away.
"What the hell..." Jason swore. Leo opened his eyes and gasped. Bellow him was a wave of water lifting up from the ground. Tony swerved to avoid its deadly crash. The water stopped at a certain height and there was a splash. Then a long silence that Leo assumed was filled with grief. Percy. That's why he couldn't cry, he was drawing all of the water power near him to make the wave to catch them. A few moments later, the water receded and his tears returned. But he was crying tears of joy. Percy was alive.
A few moments later, Tony flew up with and unconcious Wanda and Percy is his arms. Because he was unconcious, he couldn't dry of completly, so Percy remained wet. Wanda was also soaked, but looked okay.
"What the hell did your friend just pull?" Cap asked. Tony nodded. "I think they fell from a helicopter and Percy caught them with a giant tidal wave and then passed out from the work." Leo guessed. They all looked at him with scared eyes. "What?" Another helicopter flew up to them.
"Leo Valdez, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Jason Grace, Wanda Maximoff and Percy Jackson, it is my pleasure, to place you under arrest." Natasha's voice rang from the chopper's speakers. They were loaded onto the hangar and it flew off.
"Tell me why I saw a giant tsunami flying?" Natasha asked when she walked over. Tony shrugged. "Magic." She rolled her eyes and gestured to Percy and Wanda, who were awake. Wanda rested her head on Percy's shoulder.
"You have something to do with this?" He threw his hands up in defense. "Why does everyone always assume that anything that has to do with water is my doing?" There was a long silence. "Fine, it was me, but it was Wanda's plan."
Wanda rolled her eyes. "I was saving your ass."
"Um, last time I checked, I made a wave to save your ass, so..."
"But if it weren't for me, Cap and Tony would still be fighting."
"We almost died!"
Wanda shrugged." Can we just agree to disagree?" Percy nodded. "We can resolve our issues later, in a more, private, environment." Percy smiled.
"Ew, get a room you two." Jason said with a mock gross face. "And not a room in my tower." Tony pointed out. The room filled with laughter. Even Nat cracked a smile. "What, I'm dead serious. If I find out that Friday caught you two on her cameras doing something I will have every single sheet washed six times." More laughter.
"Okay, Tony. Chill. Wanda was talking about talking it out in her room." She laughed.
"No, no, no. I know that code. I invented that code, kid. Tell you what, you guys can talk it out while Friday records it with no audio. That privacy enough?" They looked at each other and nodded. "Okay, well, I'm going to sleep, tell me when we get to prison." Percy said. Wanda followed after him and they went into another room.
"Tony?" Natasha gestured to the two teens. Tony scoffed. "Not my helicopter."
They may have been arrested under a bunch of charges, and their relationships may never be the same again, they found something new. They found faith, hope, love and care. And in the least likely of all places...
Each other.
And in Percy's mind, that was a victory all its own.
