Goodbye Brother

Hazel's POV

Hazel planned on spending the day with her brother at the beach. Percy offered to calm the seas so that they could sail but because of Hazel's history with the water, she declined. "Let's talk about you now, we haven't talked in a while." Hazel laughed. "Well, I am an Avenger." Nico stopped walking and looked at her. "Speaking of being and Avenger, I think we need to talk about that." Nico continued walking and Hazel caught up with her. "What about me being an Avenger?" Nico sighed. "I can't stay here anymore. "Hazel looked confused. "I don't understand. What do you mean?" Nico sighed. "Hazel, I'm a demi-god, living in New York City inside of a giant tower with an A on it. I cant stay here, I need to go back to the Underworld. And I want you to come with me." Hazel stepped in front of her brother and looked him in his black eyes, her curly brown hair blew around her neck in the wind. "Nico. I love you, but I just started to remember you again, and I don't think I want to give up part of my life for someone I forgot." 

That hurt him a bit. "I didn't mean it like that, but, Isabelle is training to be a S.H.E.I.L.D agent and I think I want to be an Avenger. Which means staying here, in New York, in the tower with the giant A on it so that my dream can come true." Nico shook his head. "I'm leaving, Hazel. I'll be in the Underworld for a while helping dad. If you need anything, you know how to contact me." Hazel wiped a tear from her eye and nodded. "I really am gonna miss you, sis." Nico said with a smile. Hazel nodded. "Same. I'll see you later." Nico hugged her and shadow traveled away.

"Hazel, we need your help." Hazel turned around to see Natasha Romanoff. "We need you to come in and help with an assignment." Hazel shrugged. "What kind?" Natasha sighed. "Isabelle was sent on a mission to stop Bucky Barnes and his partner. She failed and the place was lit on fire. Isabelle has gone missing. We need you to track down Isabelle and find her. Here's her last known location." Natasha handed her a paper with an address. Before the spy could walk away, Hazel asked another question. "Who's Barnes' partner?" Natasha stopped and turned around to face the girl.

"Xoe."
