"Dear all passengers, we have arrived in South Korea, Seoul, remember to take your belongings and have a nice stay in Seoul," the flight attendant said.
By the time we reached Seoul, it was already 11.41am the next day. Everyone slowly got up from their seats to grab their bags. I waited until there was only a few people left to get up. If everyone got up at the same time it would have been too crowded to move.
I honestly hate crowds. You know those awkward moments when you walk behind someone slow and you just want to go ahead of them. Then when you do they just stare at you. Or like when there is a gap in between them and you want to cross they close that gap.
Yup that is me in the situation right now. I am currently walking behind two people who can't seem to sense that I am trying to speed ahead of them. Instead of asking them to excuse me I just slowly walked behind them. I'm not really in a rush anyway so I can take my time.
I went to the front of the airport where I saw my driver waiting for me. My mom had booked me a hotel and a driver to pick me up. The hotel was around a 30 minute drive from the airport. The hotel that my mom arranged for me was surprisingly very luxurious. Maybe a little too luxurious for someone who's just here for an audition. Next time I should book my own hotel. Even though I have the money to afford I feel too bad spending my parent's money.
Once I got back to the hotel, I immediately jumped onto the bed. There's something about hotel beds that just scream "jump on me!". It's so soft and fluffy makes you feel like sleeping on a cloud.
I checked the audition information online to see when the next audition is. 'I have 3 days before the audition. I guess going around Seoul to explore might be a good idea.'
So I changed into a pink skirt with a white, tight fitting long sleeve shirt and put on my white flats with a bow on the front. I grabbed my black sling bag and headed off. I went to explore some areas near the hotel to get a feel of the place.
There were convenience stores and some small little cafes with a vintage feel too it around the corners. Some clothing and suvinier stores along the side walk. There were candy shops and some bakeries. The scent of fresh baked goods could be smelt from a distance away.
I bought some clothes and accessories to match my outfits and sat at a cafe to listen to music while reading. I sat there for a few hours, of course I didn't just read, I composed a song that is named Seoul City. Describing what I have seen and felt so far.
I only made the soundtrack. I have yet to finish the lyrics and record but that can wait. Once I got back to my hotel room. I took a hot steamy shower and rested.
In the midst of writing my lyrics, my phone rang interrupting my thoughts. 'oh my mom wants to video call me. '
"Hey mom, I've just reached Seoul and it's beautiful here, " I said in a calm tone.
"That's great honey. Though you should've called me once you settled into the hotel. I called to check up on you. Glad that you made it safely. No one was stalking you right? " she asked worriedly.
I was stalked before since I am the daughter of a famous model. There were some creepy guys who had stalked me in the past but that happened a very long time ago.
"Don't worry mom. I can take care of myself. Plus you hired a body guard for me. I should be fine, " I replied with a smile.
"True, okay have fun in Seoul my little girl, do your best for your audition and say to Ji Yeon for me, I have to go back to shooting. I'll call you sometime in the future okay, love you!" my mom sure is a busy woman.
I waved good bye and went to my lyric writing. Soon, darkness began to cover the sky. I went down to the cafe in the hotel lobby and had dinner. After I finished I just went back up to my room and fell asleep.
2nd day in Seoul
I woke up fairly early. 9.10am, I did my morning routine and cleansed my face because that's mostly what people look at. I went down to the cafe and enjoyed my cup of sweet tea. Yes I don't drink coffee because it's bad for your health and it is so bitter. I have a sweet tooth.
Of course I just sat in the cafe to finish my lyric writing. I prefer to do my work in the open. It's more relaxing to me and gives me space to think. Also the hotel tables were too short. Once my lyrics were completed, I went back to my room to record. The quality wasn't as good as the ones that I record back at home.
I was using my earpiece's microphone so you could hear alot of weird sounds. Thanks to the power of noise suppression, I was able to get most of the weird noises out. None the less I still uploaded it because my viewers were anticipating the upload. No longer than 10 minutes, comments started flooding in.
Like" OMG it's so good" or " her voice is so soothing" or " she is underrated but her music is so good". Something along those lines could be seen on my computer screen. I was happy that the people who listened to my music felt happy.
Of course happiness doesn't come without a little hate. Some people on my website hated my music. I honestly don't understand why they are still there.
Is it because they want to feel good about themselves? But my fans took care of that, those haters always end up getting roasted. Who knew my fans were so savage! If only there was some way I could thank them.
Chapter 3 completed! Thank you guys for reading this. Please comment and let me know if you have any suggestions for this story! I would love to hear your opinions! <3
