Journey as an idol (SVT Mingyu FF)

-CHAPTER 11: IDOL PROJECT-

We all woke up this morning and prepared to head down to the dance studio. Our coach said that there would only be us there today. We were all puzzled as to why we were the only ones who got called in that day.

We went ahead without a clue on why we have the studio all to ourselves. But little did we know that there was a big surprise was prepared for us. When we reached the studio, we saw the CEO with a few other people that we've never seen before. Our coach was also there.

Once they got us seated, the CEO began to speak,"the reason why you guys are practising alone today is because we are deciding to put the 7 of you in our project."

Our eyes went wide open at that statement. "What kind of project? " Jae Eun asked eyes glittering with excitement.

"We are planning to debut the 7 of you together in a group thus we call this project the 'Hearts in training'. That will definitely not be your group name. It's just a temporary project name. The 7 of you have to come up with your own group name," the CEO explained.

"Wait, your saying that we get to debut as a group. How long to we have to wait? " Soo Jung asked in disbelief.

"Seeing as how alot of you came from different backgrounds but have pretty high level skills I think the 7 of you should take roughly about 6 months to touch up your skills. Of course if you can do it quickly, you will get to debut earlier than expected to, " the coach said.

We were all so excited after he said that we could debut earlier if we worked hard enough. We immediately asked which areas we should touch up our skills in. Eun Na and I got grouped together to practise our dance while Ji Yeon and Jae Eun practised their rapping along with Hyo Mi. Mila and Soo Jung went to improve their singing.

We had intense training sessions. We did a rotation on whivh skill we train every session so it was a mix. It was around 7pm and everyone had left the studio except for me. I was there to do some extra practises. I was so focused that I didn't even notice Ji Yeon leaning against the door frame.

"You know, just because you are mentally strong doesn't mean that you are physically strong too, " Ji Yeon said with a smirk.

"I know. I can't help but to be fired up after the announcement. I really want to make our debut a success," I said as I went over to stop the music from playing.

"Yeah I get you. I'm fired up too but if you tire yourself out and fall sick,you won't be able to debut, " she said with a stern tone.

"I won't. I'm just doing extra practise that's all, " I said as I sat down at the corner and drank my water bottle.

"If you say so. But don't stay down here for too long. The food upstairs will be cold and not very nice, " she said as she turned around and left.

I continued to practise for another 30 minutes and called it a day. When I went back up to the dorm, everyone was doing their own things. Eun Na and Mila were goofing around, Ji Yeon was watching some drama. Soo Jung was watching YouTube videos and Hyo Mi was in the kitchen doing dishes I believe.

"Oh you're back. Your food is on the table. Hurry and eat before it gets too cold, " Hyo Mi said as she started to rinse of the soap.

I hummed in response and sat down to eat. Luckily the food was still warm so it was okay to just shove it in my mouth without having to wait for it to cool down.

After I finished eating I went to take a shower because I felt dirty from all the sweat that was all over my body. I felt fresh and clean after showering.

I went into my room to relax when suddenly I heard a loud bang on the floor. I hurriedly rushed out of the room to see what was going on.

When I opened the door I saw Eun Na on the floor and Mila was on top of her. We stared at each other for a good 5 seconds.

"What are you two doing? " I raised my brow and put a hand on my hip as I asked.

"We were wrestling each other and then Eun Na fell. So I won, " Mila said smiling while still in the same position as before.

I face palmed myself on my forehead and went back into my room. I could hear them giggling loudly outside of the room. I rolled my eyes and plugged in my earpiece and began to listen to some songs.

I fell asleep after awhile with my earpiece still on me. I felt someone remove my earpiece and said 'I'm glad that we're together again'. I opened my eyes to see who it was but the person had already left. So I fell back asleep.

For the next couple of weeks we continued our intense training sessions with the coaches. It was tiring but it will be all worth it in the end. Soon enough we should be able to debut.
