Journey as an idol (SVT Mingyu FF)

-CHAPTER 10: STDUY-

It's been about a week since I've moved into the dorms and everything was going fine. We all had a day off today so the girls wanted to go out. I rejected them because my mid terms were 3 weeks away and I haven't gotten the chance to catch up with what I've missed out.

Once the 4 of the left, I immediately took out my laptop and immediately searched for the most recent files my school had sent to me. Then a notification popped up and it was from my school. There were about 6 files and they were all separated subjects. Except for math, there were 2 files for math.

I went out to the living room and sat down with my notebooks open and my textbooks stacked in one corner. I started to open up the files in my computer and began to browse through them. 'this is going to take sometime' I thought as I stretched out to warm myself up.

After around 30minutes of staring at the computer screen I still couldn't understand the material given to me. I kept trying to use what I learnt to try and figure it out that I didn't even notice someone behind me browsing my work.

"need help?" the voice behind me spoke and I jump a little.

"you scared me. I thought you where a murderer, " I said holding my chest.

"I'm not that scary. I'm Soo Jung by the way, " she said as she slowly sat down on the floor next to me.

"Oh...I'm Roselle, is it okay if I asked you for help? " I questioned her hoping that she would accept it.

"Yeah sure, I'm suppose to be studying for my college graduate certificate but I gave up and came here. So the least I can do is high school math, " she explained.

"Oh...why didn't you continue for college? I mean, a higher education level could get you a better job than having a 50 chance of debuting or not," I asked curiously.

"Well, college wasn't my thing. I have interest in music and my life was boring so I came here. Enough story telling, your mid terms are coming and I bet whatever you are having trouble with is going to be tested too, " she said while letting out a soft chuckle.

"yeah, we should get started," I said and turned back to the computer screen.

I wrote down notes as Soo Jung explained the topic to me and the key important points to take note off. She told me the important formulas to remember and the dos and don'ts.

We finished all of the math files and I took down a lot of notes. We took a short 10 minute break to rest for awhile and have a snack. After that we went back to studying.

"What topic do you want to do next?" Soo Jung asked.

"Hm...how about science?" I said while moving my cursor to the science file.

"alrightie. Let's do science then, " she said and I opened the file.

The first thing we saw was a test tube diagram with some poison liquid in it. It turns out it was chemistry. I turned to look at Soo Jung and she looked nervous as a bead of swear dropped down from her temple.

"Um...I'm not so good with chemistry...," she said as she kept staring at the screen trying to understand what's going on.

Suddenly I felt a warm breath behind me. "that poison is strychnine. You can tell by the molecules that form this poison," as the voice spoke I jumped and turned to see who it was.

"Oh hey Hyo Mi, you seem to know alot about chemistry, "Soo Jung said smiling while turning to look at Hyo Mi.

"I studied criminology once so I learnt the most deadliest poisons that ever existed," my eyes widen when she said 'criminology'.

"Wow...thats amazing. I wish I could take that course, " I said hardly audible.

"Anyways, this is my roommate, Hyo Mi. Hyo Mi this is Roselle, I'm helping her study. Well, trying to at least, " she said as she looked away.

"Oh right...mid terms are coming. I can help you in science. I love science alot," she said as she sat on the opposite side of me.

"thank you. I'm glad someone can help because I've really missed out alot," I said and turned back to take down my notes.

Hyo Mi started to explain the symbols and which kind of liquid is which and how to identify them. We finished the topic quite fast. She was really detailed in her explanations and told me alot of key points to take note of. We finished within 1 hour and took a break from studying.

Then I went back to studying the rest of the notes in the computer. I had music left which was quite simple and I did it under 30 minutes. By the time I finished packing up my notes and textbooks the girls came home. Soo Jung and Hyo Mi were in the kitchen preparing some food for lunch.

"Hey Roselle, enjoyed you're time alone?" Jae Eun asked with a smugged look on her face.

"Actually I've been studying. I'd like you to meet the other trainees who live in the same floor as we do. Soo Jung and Hyo Mi. They helped me studying and they're cooking lunch for us. We can have a proper introduction from there," I explained and they seemed pretty hyped to meet the others.

We could smell the delicious food from the living room. We heard Hyo Mi shout 'the food is ready'. Apparently the four of them didn't eat lunch during their little outing so it was a good thing they made food for everyone.

We went to the table and sat down. On the table there were like 3 dishes of greens and 2 dishes of meat. Beside everyone's plate there was a small little dish of Kimchi. We had lunch and took turns to introduce ourselves. Now we know everyone who live in the same floor as us.
