Mingyu's POV
After our live, we got surprised by Diamond Hearts. They came and congratulated us and left shortly after. We were sweating like it was raining indoors. I took out my phone to check my social media and immediately saw lots and lots of pictures of Diamond Hearts.
Specifically Roselle. Alot of the pictures were taken on the beach when they were in their bathing suits. As I kept scrolling, I saw a picture of when I caught her when she was about to fall. The caption said "Roselle from Diamond Hearts flirting with Mingyu from Seventeen".
I was in fury when I saw that and held a tight grip on my phone. I was looking through the comments and many fans where asking to kick Roselle out of the industry or ban her from promotions. Suddenly, Ming Hao burst through from the door and immediately walked up to me.
"Hey! Mingyu loo-! Okay never mind you already saw it, " Ming Hao blurted out as he put his phone down by his side.
"I have a feeling that Soul Rhythm is behind this, " I said as I clenched my jaw and held a tight fist.
"No offence to them but they are kind of ruining our company's image. I mean this isn't the first time. The last time it was Spreaded worldwide. It even made it onto news magazines. Interviewers were everywhere and dying to get answers and our company had to make up some ridiculous lie to save their reputation," Ming Hao said sighing.
When Soul Rhythm were trainees, they backstabbed the senior trainees. After the seniors debuted, they managed to make them disband in a flash with their threats. The group had only produced 2 songs before they decided to quit.
What our company told the media was that on of the members had to go back to her home town because she had a family issue back there.
Somehow it felt like they were going to do the same thing to Diamond Hearts. They might disband if they continue to be victimised. That will ruin ther company's image as well since Sugar Hearts entertainment is well known for their perfection in the entertainment industry. From professionally trained managers and staff to famous actors.
After we finished packing up, we went back to the company to continue practising. While walking back to dance studio I saw Yoo Jin, the leader of Soul Rhythm.
"I need to speak to you for a moment," I said as I grabbed her arm and looked at her straight in the eyes. She seemed a little frightened.
We went to the back alley of the company since not alot of people would be there so no scandals are likely to happen.
"Did you know about the recent scandal of Diamond Hearts? " I asked in a serious tone.
"What scandal? Don't tell me my girls did it again, " Yoo Jin said while looking away sighing with disappointment.
"Nothing has been proven that your girls did it yet but I thought I should let you know first, " I said as I took out my phone and showed her the pictures specifically the ones of Roselle.
"Listen, if the culprit of this is Soul Rhythm, then I'm issuing a letter to request Soul Rhythm to disband. This isn't the first time this happened and you know it. I'm sure that you know very well what happened in the past," I said while walking past her.
I walked to the snack corner in the company and got some ice coffee to cool myself down. I then heard footsteps getting louder and louder as it approached me.
"You okay? Don't get so worked up. I know Diamond Hearts won't disband so easily. You need to trust that things will work out, " Minghao said as he placed a hand on my shoulder. I nodded my head in response.
I just hope that they will be okay after everything.
