After we all ran down to the dance studio. We started to spilt up into singers and rappers. 'I guess our first training will be vocals.' We spilt up into our groups and went into another room for the practise.
We first started to warm up our voices by doing simple voice exercises. Like matching our pitch to the piano and jumping while keeping our voices steady.
After warm ups we decided to take a short 5 minute break to keep our voices and ourseleves hydrated.
"Hey, you're the girl I bumped into this morning. What a coincidence that you're in the vocal team too," the girl with long hair tied up to a ponytail spoke to me.
"It's good to see you. Sorry about this morning, I was spacing out while walking, " I said as I apologised again.
"Don't worry about it. My name is Jae Eun, what's yours? " she asked nicely.
"I'm Roselle and beside me is Eun Na," I introduced both myself and Eun Na. We stood up and bowed as a sign of respect. She was probably older than us by 2 years or more.
"Oh cool! I heard you were scouted by the company, " she said as we all sat down to begin our little chit chat corner.
"Roselle was scouted, not me. I auditioned and I passed. Funny story we met during the final test, " Eun Na said with excitement.
"Roselle...I feel like I've heard that name before...I got it! You are Kim Min Seo's most treasured person!" Jae Eun said as she tried to figure out who I really am.
"Um...not quite. You see, both Kim Min Seo and I are the same person. We aren't two separate people, " after she heard that both of them were shocked. They stared at me for quite sometime.
"what? I need to hide my identity so I don't attract unnecessary attention, " I said as a matter of fact.
"it's not that. It's just that it is a shocker. Like Kim Min Seo who is somewhat of a famous internet star, here, in Sugar Heart entertainment, training with us," Eun Na said with her eyes still wide from what I said.
"I agree with Eun Na. It's not everyday that you see someone who anonymous but yet not really in an entertainment company. We really thought that Roselle was someone else," Jae Eun said as she chucked some water down her throat.
"Well now you now that my full name is Roselle Kim Min Seo. I need a favour, can you keep this a secret? If they ask if I am Roselle from Min Seo's website just tell them you don't know, " they both nodded their heads and gave me reassurance.
We soon got called back to continue our vocal training. Then we started to learn how to go high pitch without sounding like a 5 year old child screaming in fear. Then we practised the basics. The coach proceeded to compliment me with my skills.
She said that my skills were pretty much perfect. Of course everyone has their own meaning of perfect. I guess my voice just had her type of perfection in it. The vocal training was about 1 hour. By the time we finished it was around 4pm. We started around 3pm.
We then went back to the previous room we were in which is our dance studio. We then introduced Jae Eun, our unnie(unnie is someone who is older than you and is a female. Unnie is only for females too call older females. Whereas younger males call older females noona.). Jae Eun then introduced us to another trainee who had been under the company since last year.
"Hello, my name is Mila! Nice too meet you, " she said cheerfully. Her voice is similar to Eun Na's voice. Somewhat high pitched but still sound like an adult. She also had a healthy tanned skin.
We all introduced ourselves again and talked for abit until we had to start practising our dance. We decided to copy some K-pop choreographies first before going to freestyle. We copied songs from Seventeen, Blackpink and Red Velvet. After that we went to freestyle. They asked me to dance first so I turned on Havana remix version.
They were kind of amazed by my freestyle skills but I have a bad habit of going too fast while freestyling. I would always try to dance to match the beat of the song so that's a habit that I should try and get rid of.
Next up was Jae Eun, she was like a dancing machine. She could do popping. Popping is like making your limbs look like they are detachable from your body. I'm not very good at it but it's fun trying it out.
Then Ji Yeon tried to dance. We all laughed because her moves where like someone who can't dance well. We all ended up rolling on The floor with laughter. Ji Yeon wasn't offended she was also laughing at herself.
Then Eun Na did the same thing. She tried to do the moon walk and the wave but it looked like she an octopus who has lost more than 2 limps and is trying to move but can't. We were all just having fun laughing at each other's lame dance moves.
Mila was ok. She wasn't good at it but she wasn't bad at it either. She did basic moves and we all had fun around her. I think the funniest part was when we all tried to jump over each other. Like jumping frogs. I flipped over Jae Eun and she jumped while doing the spilt over me.
The others couldn't do it. They would end up hurting each other. It was hilarious. Soon our training came to an end. Honestly it wasn't hard. We just had to make sure that we are training while fooling around. We finished around 7pm.
It was getting quite late so we went back and took a shower. We had fried chicken for dinner. We weren't supposed to have fried chicken but no one was there to stop us so we ate it and prepared for bed.
