Roselle's POV
It was a few days after our mini staycation. Everyone was pretty much worn out at that point. As soon as we got home everyone became floppy.
As usual, I went to the composing room. This time, I brought a book along with me to read. I was enjoying it until I heard the door creak open. When I felt the person's presence close to me I immediately turned around.
"Ah...you got me...hehe," Hyo Mi said as she rubbed the back of her head.
"I'm not letting it happen again, " I said an chuckled.
"We have to perform our song for an award show the day after tomorrow. The Melon Music Awards for best new artist," Hyo Mi said in excitement.
"But, Soul Rhythm will be there too...along with Seventeen. Soul Rhythm is winning the best music video award and Seventeen is getting the MBC Music Star award, " Hyo Mi said in a serious tone.
"Well let's just hope that nothing happens this time. And if it does, we best be prepared for it, " I said as I looked at Hyo Mi in the eye.
After our little conversation, we went to back to the dance studio to polish up our dancing for the live show.
Those two days went by quickly as the whole team practised together. The day before our live, we went to the stage to practise and to set up for our performance. We had our own separate schedule for some of the days. So sometimes we would practise without the members.
Finally, it was the day of the live show. We got in the van and went to the venue. The place was filled with fans and staff members hurrying around the place.
When we were backstage, we went to check on the effects that we specifically told them to add in. Once we were done we went back to our room to cool down and make sure we are ready for the live. Somehow the walls were kind of thin and we can hear people shouting and screaming on the other side.
The girls couldn't concentrate on their own things so I went next door to ask them to keep their noise level down. When I was infront of the door, there was a label and it said Seventeen. I knocked the door but no one opened it. Assuming that no one heard the knock, I opened the door.
The first thing I saw was Mingyu being chased by Wonwoo and Woozi. The vocal team in the corner warming up their vocals. The performance team playing around and the hip hop team doing whatever they were doing.
"Hey can you gu-" I shouted at the top of my lungs to get their attention but then my heel broke.
I closed my eyes for the impact to hit me but instead a pair of arms wrapped around me and caught me. When I opened my eyes slowly, it met with Mingyu's.
After 10 seconds of staring at each other, Mingyu suddenly dropped me. Everyone in the room gasped.
"Owh...don't catch me if you're going to drop me afterwards..." I said sitting up in my position staring at my broken heel.
"Mingyu! How dare you drop a girl, " Joshua exclaimed and walked towards me. He held out a hand to me and pulled me up.
"Thanks, " I said as I grabbed Joshua's hand and stood up from the ground and took of my shoes.
"He's so clumsy that he's even able to drop an actual person, " Hoshi said as the whole group laughed.
"A...Anyways, please keep your volume down a little. I...I'll get going now...bye," I said as I bowed and rushed out of the room.
After I sat down at my dresser, I began to replay what just happened just now as I stare into the mirror blankly.
???'s POV
"Hehe...this picture is the golden ticket for them to eventually disband. Boss will surely love this, " the mysterious voice said.
Roselle's POV
I had to get a new pair of shoes since my heel on the other one broke. Luckily my ankle didn't get injured. If it did, I couldn't perform on stage.
"Girls, on stand by please, " one of the crew members came into our room.
We went to the side of the stage and there we saw Soul Rhythm. They ended their song and the crowd went wild. When they came back, one of the girls who looked familiar to me, smirked and purposely bump her shoulder against mine.
What was that all about. I shook the thought of and prepared to enter the stage. The moment the MC said Diamond Hearts, we ran onstage and got into position. The whole concert hall was pitch black. The only thing lighting the place were the colourful lightsticks.
Once the lights were on and music was playing, we started to dance and sing. We ended panting like mad and sweating like it was raining indoors. We said thank you and waved goodbye to the fans as we were going down from the stage.
"Good work girls! Let's pack up now and get going, " Hyo Mi said as she gestured us to go back to our dressing room.
I walked behind the group still pondering about the incident with Soul Rhythm.
I was in my own world until I heard, "Hey good job out there!" I immediately whiped my upwards and saw Seventeen standing in front of us. We bowed and said thanks. As I was walking pass Mingyu, me made eye contact and he smiled at me.
My heart fluttered for a second. What is this feeling? I wondered as I continue to walk back to our room.

"And post. Hehe Diamond Hearts will be in for a treat."
