Journey as an idol (SVT Mingyu FF)

-CHAPTER 31: I LOVE YOU-

Roselle's POV

It was the day before our special collab with Seventeen. Everyone was busy practising and getting the venue ready for the performance. I was warming up my voice in the studio when I heard a knock on the door.

"Hey Rose," Eun Ji said with a signature bright smile. I smiled back and greeted her as well.

We discussed about the performance just to make things clearer. We headed to the concert venue in the evening to do a quick run through on how everything will be planned out.

While I was performing my part I could sense that Mingyu's eyeballs were glued to me throughout the entire performance. It was like his eyes were piercing through me though I tried to focus on the performance, it was merely impossible for me to ignore it.

After the performance, I went to check my phone and saw notifications from Mingyu.

As in go to a café to chill

I waved goodbye to my band mates before leaving to go to Coffee Bean. Once I got there, I saw Mingyu through the glass wall already at the back corner.

I scurried in at sat in front of Mingyu. Once I was settled in he smiled at me and I did the same.

"Do you want to drink anything?" Mingyu asked tilting his head to the side like a puppy.

Cute.

"What did you say?" Mingyu snapped me out of my little daydream.

"Oh I said Sparkling Passion Fruit Tea with less ice, " I said in a rush and he immediately got up to order our drinks.

I must've thought out aloud just now...i hope he didn't hear me.

He soon returned with our drinks in hand. We sat in the cafe and chatted. We talked about our group performances and up coming events so on and so forth.

Once we finished our drinks, we ventured off to a nearby park and sat there chilling. Luckily the park had no one around so it was safe. We had our hands intertwined together.

"You know I just realised something," Mingyu suddenly spoke up breaking the silence.

"What is it?" I questioned turning to look at him.

"We haven't exchanged our 'I love yous' in person yet, " Mingyu said looking right into my eyes.

My face immediately turned blood red. I slowly lowered my gaze to my hands.

"Well I'm waiting," Mingyu said leaning closer to me until our foreheads touched. I could feel his breath on y face as my face got even redder than before.
