Chapter 7

Kaity's POV

I smiled at whoever walked up to the counter to either ask for help or to purchase something. I knew today was going to be interesting once I saw Bill walk into the shack and accidentally run into someone and the person getting really mad at him.

"What the hell kid! Watch where you're going." The man exclaimed causing a scene in the Shack. I saw Bill flinch at the volume of the man's voice, and step back away from him. I stood up and walked over to the scene.

"Ok! Ok! Dude, I think he gets it. He'll pay more attention to where he's going. You didn't need to cause a scene." I said to the man and as I spoke Bill slowly made his way to stand next to me. I let a small smile creep onto my face.

After I said that the man only rolled his eyes and stormed out of the shack. I looked around at the people staring and when I looked at them they went back to what they were doing before the scene. I turned to look at Bill and he was already looking at me with a smile on his face.

"What?" I said smiling back at Bill as we looked at each other. He smiled at me more causing his eye to wrinkle at the corner. To be completely honest that was so cute.

"It's just that no one has ever really stood up for me when someone does that for me. It just makes me happy knowing that someone actually cares." Bill says as he starts the second sentence he starts to blush.

All I do is smile more and pull him into a hug. It took him a few seconds to hug back but once he did I felt my stomach erupt with butterflies. I have just realized how much I really like Bill. I don't find it weird though because I have this feeling about him that it feels like I've known him since forever.

I pulled away still smiling as I looked up at him. He was already looking down at me, causing me to blush. I saw Stan walking in so I quickly glanced at Bill before going back over to the register. Once I got there I looked back at Bill and he wasn't smiling anymore.

I motioned for him to come over to me. He slowly made his way over to me. He was about halfway to me when he froze completely as he stared at Dipper and Mabel who just walked in. Dipper had a journal in his hand. The cover had a hand with six fingers and a 3 in it.

They walked out of the shack talking to each other not even paying attention to anyone around them. After they walked out I looked back over to Bill. He had started moving again. He slowly made his way over to me. After a minute or so he was finally closer to me.

"This is as close as I can get without being suspicious," Bill says pretending to look at some useless junk that was on a shelf that was close to the register. I just smiled and shook my head at him.

"Well, why don't you give me your number so we can hang out when I'm not working," I said looking at Bill as he aimlessly looked at random shit. He looked at me with a smile.

"Is that your way of asking for my number with an excuse?" Bill asked laughing at the end as I blushed.

"M-maybe," I stuttered out before pausing to regain myself before continuing, "Anyway what's my answer? Do I get your number?" I finished looking at Bill.

"Well maybe if you promise that if I do give it to you we can actually hang out," Bill said turning to actually look at me, with a smile plastered on his face. I swear I think that smile is permanently embedded on his face.

"I promise because you seem to be really cool. I want to hang out with you," I said, starting to feel my face heat up. All he did was smile at me before walking over to the register and grabbing a pen and a piece of paper off of the desk. He wrote a few things down then handed me the paper.

I looked at it and it had his name and his number and below his number, there was a note. 'Text me after you're done working. I want to take you somewhere. -Bill'

I smiled but as I looked up I noticed Bill was gone. He just disappeared. I frowned because now I was all alone. I wish I was done working now but nope I still have 4 hours.

I smiled as I texted Bill that I was done working. He said he'd be at the shack in 15 minutes. I smiled as I rushed to my room to change into some black ripped skinny jeans, a Pierce The Veil shirt and a pair of my black combat boots.

I slipped on a red flannel and through my hair in a ponytail. I walked back into the shack walking outside and sitting on the porch. Not long after I went out there I saw Bill walking towards the shack. I sat there until he was standing in front of me holding out his hand to help me up.

I smiled at him and put my small hand in his larger one. I stood up and looked at him. He smiled at me, my hand still in his. He didn't pull his hand away so I left my hand in his.

"So where did you want to take me?" I asked, still looking up at him. He just smiled and started to walk not letting go of my hand.

"You'll see, but you just have to wait until we get there," Bill said, still walking. We started to walk together, we walked for about ten minutes before we started to walk into the forest. I didn't question Bill though I just kept walking with him.

We walked for about an hour before we were in front of a hill. We only stopped for a second before we started walking again. All of a sudden everything went white and we were at the top of the hill.

I was so confused because one second we were at the bottom of the hill and now we're at the top. I looked at Bill confused and saw he was already looking at me but had a scared look on his face.

"What the fuck! How the fuck are we magically at the fucking top of this hill. One second we were at the bottom and now we're at the fucking top." I exclaimed stepping closer to Bill.

"Umm I can explain, I promise, but I'm gonna need you to calm down and trust me. You need to listen to me. Please." Bill said nervously as he looked at me. I only nodded in agreement.

Hahahaha I'm ending it here. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Sooooo for me school ended last Thursday. The past few days have been kinda hard but I'm fine. I'm gonna miss all my friends so much. Anyways, that's it, stay sad but not too sad.
