Chapter 14

Kaity's POV

I woke up to the sound of hushed giggles coming from around me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw everyone surrounding me looking at my face. I groaned and looked around my room. I noticed each of them have a Sharpie's in their hands.

I groan already knowing what they did, and I know where they got them from. Ever since like 7th grade Bekah always carries around Sharpies. I groaned and sat up rubbing my eyes. I slowly stood up giving my friends all dirty looks.

I walked over to my bathroom and looked at my face. There were drawings and words written all over my face. I sighed and tried to wash it off. All the while my friend was dying of laughter behind me.

Bekah had calmed down and then told the others they should leave before I kill someone. Then she walked into the bathroom and helped me clean my face. All I did was stand there and pout as she whipped off my face.

After a few minutes, my face was clean and we walked to the small living room. We both sat on the floor, and watched tv for about an hour, but then we started to get bored.

"Hey let's go to Greasy's Diner," I said getting up. They all nodded and stood up as well. We walked into the shop and out the front door. We started to walk down the street.

We sat down and waited for Lazy Susan. She came over to our booth and we all ordered pancakes 'cause who doesn't like pancakes? We ate and made small talk while we ate so it wouldn't be just kind of an awkward silence.

We finished and then all paid for the food, and left. We walked around town for a little bit before it started to get dark. We walked back to the Shack and went straight to my room. We all laid down in random places again.

Alex and Rosie on one the bean bags, Cassie and me on my bed, and Bekah curled up into a ball on the other big bean bag chair. Everyone fell asleep after talking for a little bit.

I got up and grabbed two blankets and put one over Alex and the other over Rosie. I walked over to Bekah and pulled the blanket that was already there over her. I walked over to my bed and covered Cassie before laying down and covering myself. I fell asleep shortly after that.

Sorry, this chapter is pretty short, but I had forgotten it was Monday. So I was like okay calm down and get this chapter written so you can post it. So this is what I give you. Also yesterday I finally got out of my house and went to the park and spent about an hour on the swings. Even though I was outside I tried my best to avoid all human interaction. Okay, I'm done ranting. Anyways as always stay sad but not too sad.
