I walked out and started to walk to the Shack once the girls saw me they all walked over to me and met me halfway. Then came the questions, 'Where were you', and 'You disappeared on us?' I shrugged not having an excuse for why I disappeared. Kaity looked at me and I could tell she didn't believe me. I gave her a look that said 'I'll tell you later' I was actually going to tell her where I went, along with everything else.

Bekah's POV

After about an hour of hanging out Cassie left because she had to head home. Then by the end of the night, it was only me and Kaity still at the Shack because all the other girls had to head home because their parents wanted them home. We were sitting outside looking up at the stars that were visible. It was nice because since where we live there are so many lights you can't see the stars.

"So when are you gonna tell me where you went?" Kaity asked just about a whisper trying not to disturb the quiet atmosphere. I stayed quiet for a few minutes just looking at the stars before I started to talk.

"I went to go talk to Bill," I said slowly, not looking at anything in particular. "I've been keeping things from you for a while now," I said I didn't talk barely over a whisper. I didn't want to explain any of this yet.

"What have you been hiding from me?" Kaity questioned sitting up to look at me. I glanced at her slightly before looking back up.

"Let's go inside and I'll explain everything. I promise, but we'll need to go inside because it might take me awhile." I said while sitting up and getting to my feet. I reached my hand out for Kaity to grab. She grabbed it and I helped her up and we walked into the Shack and up to her room.

"So tell me everything. Don't skip anything." Kaity said as we sat down. She sat herself down on her bed and I sat down on the giant bean bag chair next to it.

"So I guess I'll start at the beginning," I said quietly before continuing again, "So when we were in 6th grade Bill had come to me to tell me that I would meet you and that I needed to befriend you. He didn't give me any more information about you at all. As you know we weren't really friends until 7th grade and of course, we have been friends since then and through high school. So now I'm gonna backtrack a little. After Bill contacted me about you I was contacted by Ford. after a month or so I was able to trust him enough to meet up with him." I paused to make sure she wasn't becoming confused. She nodded so I continued.

"When we met he explained some important details. First somethings about me and then you. He told me all about you and what was going to happen. The plan was that when you turned 21 I and Bill would come together and tell you everything together, but as you know now that's not how it happened. You know everything that Bill was going to tell you but you still need the other half." I said before taking a deep breath and continuing on, "I'm not completely human. I'm part ShapeShifter. I can only do certain things. I can't really change my form but I can change simple things. For example, I can change my eye color depending on my mood." I paused looking Kaity straight in the eyes and flashing different colors. I mentioned the main colors but in reality, I can change them any colors I want.

"So let me get this straight. You are a half ShapeShifter. You can't change your form but you can change simple stuff." Kaity said furrowing her eyebrows looking down at her hands that were resting on her lap. I nodded even though she hadn't looked back up at me and started speaking before she could say anything more.

"I'm also a half Fallen Angel. My mother was a Fallen Angel. My father was a ShapeShifter. I wasn't aware of any of this until my parents and Ford got together and explained everything to me. This was when I was a freshman. Over the time I've known I've learned to control everything. When I first found out my powers had been dormant and when I found out they kinda like "woke up" for say. They had gone crazy and I had a hard time hiding them." I finished off sighing. That was all I could tell her for now. The rest has to be explained when she turns 21 any earlier and things won't be very good. I wasn't even supposed to know all the aspects of myself until I was 21 too but I need to know earlier.

"So you are mostly supernatural but still human?" Kaity asked, looking at me. I nodded at least she took this well. Bill had told me that she had locked herself away before we had come to town. He hadn't gone into detail and now I understand now. She didn't take it well when Bill had explained his part.

"This is so cool I have a mostly supernatural friend that I never knew has the things she does until now. This is flipping awesome." Kaity said while at the same time keeping her speech family friendly which made me laugh. She looked at me and was shocked when her gaze met mine. My eyes had turned a bright pastel pink.

When I noticed her staring at my eyes I looked directly at her. She smiled slightly, still looking at my eye. I laughed slightly, not bothering to change my eyes back.

"It's still weird huh?" I said looking at her she nodded slightly before looking away from my eyes. I blinked a couple of times, my eyes going back to brown. I still had a smile on my face as I looked around the room.

"We should go to bed late and I want to show you something tomorrow. We need to be fully rested for our little adventure," I said smiling at her as I talked and grabbed the blanket and pillow that were laying down on the giant beanbag chair. I set the pillow down before laying down and covering myself with the blanket. Kaity laid down on her bed after shutting off the light.

"There's gonna be one part you're not gonna like in tomorrow's adventure," I said quietly after a few minutes of laying there in the dark and knowing that she was already asleep. I sighed quietly rolling onto my side facing the window looking at the moon.

"What am I gonna do?" I whispered before shutting my eyes and falling into a dreamless sleep. I was scared for tomorrow in all honesty. I hope she doesn't do something stupid that gets her hurt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok, I know most people would say this is spoiling..... kinda but that last little thing was kinda foreshadowing. I know I'm a bad person. I'm sorry this was all written in my characters POV it was purposeful I promise. I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have a purpose. This chapter was more character development. I couldn't really think of any good mythical creatures but I think the ones I chose are good especially for my character. Anyway, tell me what you think of this chapter in the comments. I'm curious to see who actually reads the authors notes at the end of chapters. Anyways stay sad but not too sad.
So Long and Goodnight
Love you guys,
