Not Me//Jorbyn

Chapter 1

"I can't believe it's already the last day of school." I said, closing my locker.

"Finally." Said Daniel as he leaned against the locker next to mine.

"I don't know if I'm ready to leave yet." I said.

"You? You don't want school to end?"

I shrugged, "We won't get to hang out as much."

"I guess so." He said back as the bell rang. "I better get going. I'll see you after school in the parking lot."

"Ok, bye."

I left for class and sat in my usual set in the back of the room, plugging in my headphones and pretended like I was paying attention.

That's pretty much how all my classes went that day. It's not like we were learning anything important anyway.

At lunch I sat under a tree and watched everyone else eat. I wasn't hungry, and to be honest, I don't like eating in front of people. It makes me uncomfortable since I'm kinda a messy eater. So I don't usually eat at lunch, unless I'm really hungry.

I finished school and then went outside looking around for Daniel.

They was a huge crowd all talking and jumping around so I went and leaned against the building staying far away from everyone and waited awhile.

Time went by and people were starting to leave so I pulled out my phone and texted Daniel.

J: yo Daniel were you at???

D: oh shot sorry bro I had to help out three guys that needed a place to stay but we are right near that café by our school if you wanna met them

J: sure

So I ran quickly to the café to meet up with them. I was kinda nervous to be around that many people but if they are Daniels friends then they must be cool, right?

When I got to the café I saw them all standing around outside and went up to them.

"Hey Daniel." I said.

"Heyyy! This is Corbyn, Jack, and Zach." He told me pointing to each one.

Corbyn had bleach blond hair and was pretty skinny, almost as tall as me.

Jack had curly, long, brown hair and a nose piercing.
