So I've decided to be a nice person and update. I know it's been a while and I'm sorry but volleyball tournaments take up a lot of the weekends and I'm having so much homework because I'm in all ap classes. Anyway, think we could get this book to 250 reads by next update?? That'd be awesome if you could. Either way I'll try to update soon. Read, vote, share, comment. Love you, enjoy the book.

Chaper 6
Hale's POV
There has been an accident. Lucas' voice interrupted the meeting I was having with my dad about pack rounds.
What kind of accident? I asked just as pain pierced through me causing me to fall to the ground.
Lucas must have spoken to both my father and I because my father's eyes grew wide.
I don't know. Lucy is screaming and we can't get her to open her eyes or speak. Barron is holding her and we are taking her back to your house. We are almost there.
My heart dropped to my stomach just as another wave of pain hit me. I knew I was feeling a small part of what she was feeling.
I ran through the doors of the pack building and jumped into the air, shifting in the process.
It took me less than a minute to reach my house with my dad right behind me. I couldn't hear anything but Lucas was standing at the door pacing and rubbing his hands up and down his face.
I shifted back once I saw him but my wolf was still restless. He wanted to see his mate and so did I.
"What the hell happened?" I grabbed Lucas by the collar of his shirt. He might have been my best friend but he let my mate get hurt, that was something I would always remember.
"Put him down." My dad ordered. I knew hurting Lucas wouldn't help but my wolf wanted blood. As soon as I set Lucas on the ground he began spilling his guts and leading us through the house to where Barron was with Lucy.
"She took your car and left. Barron and I ran after her when we couldn't find her here. When we got there a guy was holding her and when he saw us he threw her on the ground. At first she was frozen and not moving or even blinking then she started screaming and trembling. Suddenly her heart stopped and she quit breathing. It took Barron and me almost a minute and a half to get her heart beating again. She's been like this ever since."
Lucy was lying on the bed unmoving. Her skin was so pale she looked dead. Barron was at her side and as I got closer I saw he had been crying.
I placed a kiss on Lucy's forehead before sitting on the bed next to her.
"The pack doctor's on her way." My dad said. No one spoke and when I looked up I noticed Lucas had moved to beside Barron. He had his hand on Lucy's shoulder and was whispering apologies.
"I want a sweep done. I want to know who was with Lucy. Whoever," my voice cracked and I growled loudly, "did this to her will pay." I promised not only myself but also Lucy that I would murder the fowl mutt that did this. "When we find the wolf that did this..."
I let my voice trail off. My wolf was beginning to calm down. He was still worried about his mate but that's all we were feeling. The anger was still there but it could wait until Lucy was healed.
The pack doctor arrived a couple minutes later. She told us to back away from Lucy while she examined her. Barron and I were still reluctant to back away but my dad forced me and we both had to pry Barron away from Lucy.
