Fix the problem

Half of the world had now perished out of nowhere. Bucky sat in the rocking chair shaking of what was happening. But more importantly, why was he still there? Why was he there instead of his girls? He looked down at his hands to see the dust of the love of his life. Could he have done something? His eyes hurt from crying and he was too weak to even stand up.

"Bucky?" Someone asked in the corner of the room.

"Charlotte? Oh my god you're ok!" He said quickly standing up and hugging her, not questioning how she got there.

"I'm glad you are ok. Did Danielle make it?" She asked letting him go.

"No. And neither did Lillian. What's happening?" Bucky asked slowly breaking down.

"Lillian? Never mind, another story for another day. We need to get to tony." Charlotte said and they both vanished. They appeared on a road that no cars were on.

"So who did all of this?" Bucky asked as they walked down the road.

"Some ugly ass space grape called, god what was his name? Thermos? No wait Thanos. Asshole decided to get all the infinity stones and destroy half the universe." Charlotte said.

"Where is He? How can we stop him?" Bucky asked.

"Don't worry, people are taking care of that. We need to get everyone else together." Charlotte said.

"Is peter ok?" Bucky asked.

"Oh we are here." Charlotte said as they approached a house. They walked in to see Mia and tony.

"Mia!" Charlotte yelled and hugged her.

"Thank god." Mia said hugging her tightly.

"T'Challa? Is he ok?" Charlotte asked.

"Nope, gone like everyone else in Wakanda." Mia said getting emotional.

"Did tony come and get you?" Charlotte asked.

"No. When this happened I panicked so I got on my horse and rode here. Figured this would be a safe place. I was just about to call
You actually." Mia said.

"Ok we need to get to the tower now." Charlotte said.

Meanwhile Chris was sitting in his house unaware of what was happening.

"Pretty face thank god you are here." Tony said flying in through the roof.

"You never fail to make an entrance. What are you doing here?" Chris asked standing up.

"Ok this is a lot to take in but half the universe is gone. You need to come with me now." Tony said.

"Wait what? Is everyone ok?" Chris asked shocked.

"Good question. I don't know. All I know is Charlotte is alive. We need to go now we are wasting time." Tony said.

"Wait I just can't leave. I have a life here." Chris said.

"You're sister could be dead and you want to stay here?" Tony asked.

"Mia, I almost forgot about her. Fine I'll
Go." He said.

The three arrived at the tower.

"Tony should be back in three..two..one." Charlotte said. Then tony walked through the door with Chris.

"Chris!" Mia shouted.

"My god Mia!" He said lifting her up into the air as he hugged her.

"I'm so happy you are ok." He said putting her down.

"Ok what about Steve?" Tony asked.

"Nope." Charlotte sighed.

"And peter?" Tony asked. Charlotte looked down and shook her head trying to hold in her tears.

"And no Danielle either. I guess it's just us." Mia said.

"Where do we even start. I'm still processing what just happened." Chris said.

"Well the other avengers are taking care of thanos. So all we can do is wait I guess." Tony sighed.

"Wait? Our friends are dead and you want to just sit here and wait?" Mia asked.

"I don't know what you want me to do." Tony said.

"Charlotte Rose?" A girl asked walking into the tower.

"Excuse me who are you?" Tony asked.

"That's me." Charlotte said softly as she wiped her eyes.

"I need you to come with me." She said.

"Why me?" She asked.

"Why should we trust you? Who even are you?" Tony asked.

"My name is Genevieve Jacobs, I've been sent here to get her. I know how to stop all of this." She said.

"And we should believe you why?" Chris asked.

"I know there is no way to make you believe me. But... I've been sent here by someone who knows how to fix all of this. He would be here for himself but certain things have prevented it." She said.

"Ok stop leaving things out. Who are you talking about?" Chris asked.

"Does the name Steve Rogers ring a bell?" She asked.

"I thought he was dead." Charlotte said softly.

"Guess you were wrong. He is hiding because he escaped thanos's grasp. He is going after him because he knows how to fix everything." She said.

"Fine I'll go." Charlotte said.

"What about the rest of us?"
Mia asked.

"Wait for us to return. I promise I'll return her in one piece." Genevieve said.

"I'll be ok. If I can get everyone back then I'm doing it." Charlotte said.

"I like the way you think. Come with me." She said giving an eerie smile and the two vanished. Everyone looked at each other.

"Guess we do have to wait." Mia sighed.

"It's going to be a long day." Chris sighed and sat down. The waiting game it was then.
