The Peace of Our time...

The first holiday together as a family

"It's now thanksgiving day and I still have nothing to wear." Charlotte sighed throwing a dress to the side.

"Didn't we talk about this?" Peter asked walking out of the bathroom buttoning up his shirt.

"Yes but look at you. Wearing a button up shirt and nice pants. And you even did your hair." She said fixing his collar.

"Hey even I have gained a few. This is actually one of Tony's old shirts." Peter laughed. Charlotte laughed and fixed his hair so that one strand hung down from the rest.

"There now you look even more handsome." Charlotte said.

"Thanks, now please, just wearing something comfortable. I'll be downstairs if you need me." Peter said kissing her cheek and then walking downstairs.

"Hey come on we are about to get started." Danielle said walking into her room wearing a nice dress and heels. Charlotte sighed and looked down.

"I've got nothing to wear. It's either too small or...no that's pretty much it." Charlotte said.

"Come on I'm sure we can find something. Since I'm taller than you I wear a bigger size. Let's see what I have." Danielle said grabbing her hand and dragging her to her wardrobe.

"Here try this baby blue one, I wore this when I was two months pregnant with Lillian so it has to fit. If anything it will be big." Danielle said throwing a dress at her. She put it on and it fit, it was a bit big but Danielle fixed it so it would fit just right.

"See you look great." Danielle smiled. Charlotte looked at herself but couldn't help but notice how much weight it looked like she gained.

"Maybe it's too tight." Charlotte said.

"What? No you look amazing, I'm not letting you take that off." Danielle said.

Meanwhile Mia was sitting at her desk putting her makeup on. She was wearing a beautiful navy blue dress that came down to her knees. She focused on putting her eyeshadow on when she saw someone standing behind her. She quickly turned around to see T'Challa.

"Wait, what are you doing here?" She asked confused but so happy he was there.

"Well I got to wakanda last night and Shuri told me I would be crazy if I didn't come back to spend thanksgiving with my family here. So I came back. I hope you can forgive me." He said. Mia couldn't even said anything she just jumped into his arms and hugged him.

"I'm so happy you are back, I don't know what I would do with you gone." She said still in his arms.

"And I'm sorry if I made you feel bad the past couple of days. I never want you to not have that beautiful smile on your face." He said. He kissed her and then put her down.

"Now come on, I think food is almost ready." He said grabbing her hand and then walking downstairs. Charlotte walked downstairs her hair curled and light makeup on. Peter walked up to her as she was walking down the steps and grabbed her hand and kissed it.

"You look amazing." He smiled.

"Thanks. So do you." She smiled and walked down the last few steps still holding his hand.

"Ok can I have everyone's attention," tony said.

"Oh here we go, everyone take a seat this might be awhile." Sam said.

"I swear I won't turn this into a big long sappy speech. But I do want to say it is amazing to have you all back in one place. When we were all split apart I actually really felt empty. And then the whole Thanos thing happened and we lost a lot of people. But look, we are all here, alive and well. So I'm thankful for everyone here. There I'm done happy?" Tony laughed.
