She'll come around

"I sent you home why are you here?" Charlotte asked as her and Mia walked into another room away from the others.

"Hm, correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't seem that surprised." Mia asked sitting down.

"Yeah not really. Actually it makes a lot of sense now." Charlotte sighed.

"Makes a lot of sense? What do you mean?" Mia asked.

"Damn it, did I say that out loud. Nothing it's fine I'm sure. A fluke most likely." Charlotte said.

"Charlotte, what did you see?" Mia asked standing up.

"The council in wakanda feuding. Everyone turning on each other. Complete chaos." Charlotte sighed.

"Over what?" Mia asked.

"I'm not sure, my vision cut out before I could see." Charlotte sighed.

"It's all my fault." Mia sighed tearing up.

"What even happened?" Charlotte asked.

"His mom didn't know I was American. And she wasn't very happy when she found out." Mia said getting choked up. Charlotte hugged her.

"I just couldn't stay there. But I can't keep thinking of the look on T'Challa's face when I left. He was so heartbroken. Hurt because of me." Mia cried.

"You did what you had to do. It will all work out eventually." Charlotte said comforting her.

"But how do you know that?" Mia asked backing up and wiping her tears away.

"Did you seriously just ask the girl who can see the future how she knows?" Charlotte laughed.

"Right, Sorry," Mia laughed trying to get herself together.

"Just think, I could have seen if you will have any kids and you would never know." Charlotte said.

"I actually hate you." Mia laughed throwing a pillow at her. Then there was a knock on the door.

"Hey....mind if I talk to you?" Peter asked softly. Mia looked at Charlotte, who's expression was dead cold.

"I don't know if now is a good time." Charlotte said in a monotone voice.

"No it's fine. I have to go and make sure Shuri isn't making tony have a breakdown." Mia said and left.

"Look you have every right to be mad." Peter said closing the door behind him after Mia left.

"I'm not mad." Charlotte said crossing her arms.

"You aren't?" Peter asked confused. "No wait you are playing tricks again. God this never ends well for me." Peter sighed.

"I don't know what to feel anymore peter. You promised me that when we had this kid that you would never leave my side, that we would get through this together. Yet here you are, not even a month later, taking missions and leaving me to do all the hard work. You've been so distant from not only your daughter but from me." Charlotte said harshly, her voice strong and stern.

"Look I'm new to this." Peter said getting choked up.

"And I'm not?" Charlotte snapped. Peter sighed and took a deep breath, trying to hold it together.

"What do you want me to say? I'm sorry? It won't happen again? What can I even do to make you happy right now?" Peter asked his voice breaking as a tear escaped his eye.

"Honestly I don't know. And sure maybe I'm being a little dramatic but after what I've been through, I think I deserve this. For now I just need time away from you. It's for the best." Charlotte said.

"What about Noelle? You can't just take her away from me." Peter said.

"You weren't seeing her then, so nothing has changed." Charlotte said and walked out of the room. Peter held his emotions together and just sighed. He knew leaving Charlotte alone with the baby was wrong from the moment he did it. And he knew she had every reason to be mad at him.

"Everything is a lie. All of my work is wrong." Tony sighed.

"Shuri look what you did to poor tony. He is a grandpap he cant deal with this type of stress." Sam said. "Good job please never leave." Sam said patting her on the back and walking away. Charlotte then walked down the steps.

"Oh Shuri this is Charlotte. The one I keep mentioning." Mia said.

"Ah yes. It's very nice to meet you. May I?" Shuri asked walking over to her. Charlotte put out her hand. Shuri grabbed it and examined the power she was feeling resonating from Charlotte's hand.

"I have never felt anything like this in all of my years of research. I never knew so much power could be in one human being." Shuri said letting go of her hand.

"You and me both." Charlotte smiled. Tony looked out the window to see peter climbing to the roof to clear his mind. Tony sighed and went up with him.

"I'm guessing things didn't work out?" Tony asked.

"Nope, you were right. I'm an idiot." Peter sighed.

"I don't think I used those exact words but, you know Charlotte. She'll come around." Tony said sitting next to him.

"I hope so. But the way she was talking, it was like I could tell she was hurting but...she hid it so well and put on her meanest voice and I was at a loss for words. And now I'm paying for it." Peter sighed.

"Like I said, she will come around." Tony sighed. They both looked out the the busy city below them.

"Lillian this is Noelle. Hopefully you guys will be like sisters when you are older." Steve said showing Lillian the small baby. Lillian smiled and looked at Noelle in awe. Lillian softly touched her cheek and little Noelle opened her eyes and yawned. Lillian let out a small giggle and smiled at the little one. She softly kissed her cheek and looked up at Steve.

"Good job sweetie, I know you will look after her." Steve smiled and then stood up with Noelle in his arms.

"For the last time, putting an egg in a cup and then putting it in the microwave is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen but it doesn't surprise me that you of all people do it." Sam said.

"It's scrambled eggs in half the time. With some cheese and pepper it's amazing." Bucky said. 

"No you know what's amazing, scrambled eggs....on a freaking pan!" Sam yelled

"But this takes half the time." Bucky said.

"Stop acting like a salesman. You ain't that good. Plus you don't even know if the egg is cooked all the way! I'm sorry but eating a raw egg for breakfast is a big red flag for me at least." Sam said.

"I had one this morning do I look dead?" Bucky asked. Sam looked at him. "You know what don't answer that."

"Well you don't look dead but you do look like a freaking cave man can you even hear me under all that hair?" Sam asked.

"Here we go again with my hair." Bucky sighed.

"You know we could both avoid this by.... you getting a hair cut!" Sam yelled.

"Like i said I'm fine with the way I am." Bucky said.

"Man soon enough Danielle won't be into you and then you won't have any more kids and then your life is over, dying a sad old wrinkly homeless looking man. Forgotten by everyone you love." Sam said.

"Woah who said I want more kids." Bucky asked quickly.

"Out of my Who speech that's what you got from that?" Sam asked crossing his arms.

"Shut up." Bucky snapped.

"Mia we have a problem, we must go back to wakanda immediately." Shuri said.

"What? No I can't go back there." Mia hesitated.

"It is urgent I need you to come with me." Shuri said.

"Why what happened?" Mia asked.

"My brother is trying to leave his throne......for good."
