"Shhh please stop crying, I don't know what to do to make you stop." Charlotte said rocking little Noelle in her arms. Noelle was now two weeks old and she has been crying nonstop every single day and nothing will calm her down. Charlotte had gotten no sleep whatsoever because of this and she was having a full breakdown. Despite getting her powers back she couldn't feel more weak and helpless. They were back at their house outside the city and peter was out on a mission.
"Please, just please stop crying." Charlotte said breaking down. Thats when the door opened downstairs.
"Hello?" A voice called.
"Up here!" Charlotte called quickly wiping her eyes.
"Hey, I just thought I would check in." Tony said walking up the steps.
"Things could definitely be better." She said trying to keep it together.
"Why what's wrong?" Tony asked instantly becoming concerned.
"She just won't stop crying and I don't know what I'm doing wrong." Charlotte said a tear escaping her eye.
"Hey it's ok, take a deep breath. You must be exhausted. Here let me take her." Tony said walking over to her. Charlotte handed tony the small baby. Tony got the biggest smile as he held little Noelle.
"Hey little one it's ok, you are already like your mother, worried about everything." Tony smiled. Charlotte smiled and wiped her eyes once again.
"You look miserable why don't you go get some rest I'll watch over the little one, take her back to the tower." Tony said.
"Really? You don't have to do that." Charlotte said clearly exhausted.
"No it will be fun, I'll show her around the tower and I'm sure everyone will love to see her. Plus Danielle can probably see why she is crying so much, even though I'm sure it's nothing to worry about." Tony said
"You are the best I can't thank you enough." Charlotte said hugging him.
"It's nothing and I get to spend time with one of my favorite people ever so it's worth it." Tony smiled looking down at the little one again.
"I'll come by and pick her up." Charlotte said.
"And that better be awhile from now. I'm serious get some rest." Tony said.
*back at the tower*
Bucky was on the floor playing with Lillian. She was now a year old and was already walking. She was playing with some blocks as Bucky just sat there watching her. She looked over to him and got the biggest smile on her face and quickly got up to her feet and ran over to him and tackled him. Bucky laughed and lifted her into the air as he fell onto his back making her laugh.
"You got me." He laughed.
"Yo Bucky you are needed in the kitchen." Sam yelled.
"Come on I was over here having a great time actually liking life for once and then your loud mouth just ruined it. What do you want?" Bucky asked walking into the kitchen.
"Danielle called she said her and peter are heading back and that she totally didn't get stabbed or anything." Sam said.
"Great almost losing my girlfriend for the hundredth time. Is she getting it healed?" Bucky asked.
"She didn't say but she was still alive so I would say she is fine." Sam said.
"That is very comforting thank you Sam." Bucky said sarcastically and walked away. He walked back to the living room and sat down. Lillian saw him and ran after him again. This time she fell and crawled her way to his lap and sat down. She suddenly got an interest in his metal arm. She touched it and looked at Bucky. Bucky's heart instantly dropped. She looked back to his arm and flinched back when he moved it. He opened his palm for her to inspect it. She looked at it closely and then looked at him again. He smiled through the pain as he knew that Lillian could tell it wasn't normal for him to have a metal arm. But then she gently grabbed it and kissed it. She then stood up and hugged Bucky. Bucky smiled and hugged her.
