Peter sat by the window looking at the wakanda grounds, with a cup of coffee in his hands and his eyes filled with tears.

"How are you holding up kid?" Tony asked softly sitting in front of him at the small table he was sitting by.

"It's been three days and she still hasn't been found. She would have come back by now." He said softly not taking his eyes off of the outside grounds that were still destroyed from the battle.

"I'm really sorry kid." Tony sighed.

"It's weird. The first time I lost her I cried until I couldn't breathe. I remember my eyes burning so bad it made me cry harder. And then the second time I lost her I cried but was more in shock. And now, nothing." He sighed and looked down At his coffee he hadn't touched.

"There was nothing you could have done." Tony said.

"I know. But I would like to know what happened her at least. If she was in pain. And she was pregnant-" he said getting choked up but quickly stopped and took a deep breath and collected his thoughts and went back to looking outside. "She promised me she would be ok. But I guess promises are made to be broken." Peter sighed and took a sip of his coffee.

"Well you better get ready." Tony said clearing his throat as he stood up.

"Ready for what?" Peter asked looking at him in confusion.

"T'Challa's funeral." Tony said and walked away.

"Hey grandpap Stark." Noelle said as Tony passed her.

"Hey little one, what are you doing?" He asked sitting next to her on the windowsill.

"Looking for mom." She replied.

"Oh really, any luck?" Tony asked.

"Not yet. But it's weird I keep hearing a really faint but fast heart beat. But who knows what that could be." Noelle said. She now looked like she would be 13 but she was still only a toddler.

"Maybe you are on to something." Tony said.

"You don't have to lie to me grandpap. I know she is most likely gone." Noelle sighed. Tony stayed silent and just looked at Noelle. She looked so much like Charlotte.

"You look just like her."Tony said getting choked up. "And she would do anything to see you grow up. She was such a fighter and she didn't deserve to go out like this." Tony said and slowly broke down. Noelle just hugged him. "I'm sorry, I should be the one comforting you." He said quickly wiping his eyes and letting go of her.

"It's ok grandpap Stark, we all need someone to mourn with." She said.

"My queen we searched all over the grounds. She is nowhere to be seen. Some bodies on the field have turned to ash, making them unrecognizable." A guard said walking into the room where T'Challa's mom had been hiding out.

"Nonsense, you will search until you find her dead or alive. For my son." She said sternly and hostile.

"But my Queen-"

"Do not date disobey my orders, whatever it takes I want to know Charlotte is dead! Go!" She yelled. All of the guards quickly ran out of the room.

"Hey I just wanted to see how you are." Danielle said walking into Mia's room.

"I just can't believe he is actually gone." Mia said wiping her eyes.

"But he's not, once we find Charlotte you guys can bring him back-"

"Don't you get it, Charlotte is dead. There is no coming back from that." Mia said.

"But we don't know that. Charlotte is the most powerful person we know she can't just be dead." Danielle said.
