(basically you really really want love, not Level Of Violence)
I looked at Sans annoyed, we were in yet another argument. Just because he's bigger than me (since I don't get much bigger than a baby) he thinks he's so cool. "You're just upset because you know I'm better then you," I said with a cocky smirk on my face. Sans flicked my head and I fell down. I saw Papyrus from the corner of my eye leaving his room. This was my chance. I began to cry to get his attention. Papyrus looked at Sans and me, he came to pick me up.He picked me up and hugged me bouncing me slightly like you would a baby. I hugged Papyrus and continued to cry looking at Sans with a grin on my face every now and then. "Shh, small human, it's fine he won't hurt you again," Papyrus said hugging me.
I sniffed and looked up at Papyrus with tearful eyes, "Papy c-can I sleep in your room tonight? P-Pweas?" Papyrus nodded at my request and looked at Sans. "Don't touch Y/n," Sans growled softly and nodded. Papyrus set me down and left the room to go to the kitchen.
Sans glared at me, he got close to me and with venom in his voice began to spoke. "Just because no one loved you doesn't give you the right to manipulate my brother." His words genuinely hurt me, but I refused to show it. He was right though, Papyrus was the only one that showed any love toward me. I still don't know why, but I played along. Sans doesn't know it but I want him to love me just like Papyrus does.
Papyrus walked back with a small plate of my favorite food. I didn't realize I was drooling but when I did realize I didn't care. Papyrus treated me like a baby but I didn't care, love is love. Papyrus lets me eat my food and got my pj's for me. I got changed into a cherry red bunny onesie and Papyrus carried me to his room so I could sleep. Although I pretty much fell asleep in Papyrus' arms.
I woke up (or, I think I woke up) in Papyrus bed. It was really dark, almost pitch black. I could barely see my hands in front of me, the door creaked open and Sans and Papyrus stood in the doorway. Sans was smiling wide, his smile scared me, and Papyrus, he looked like he was about to kill someone. "Papy? What's wrong?" I asked genuinely concerned.
They both walked towards me without a word. "P-Papyrus, p-please stop. You're scaring me." I said with tears in my eyes.
"You've been a bad person.""Please don't hurt me! I'll be good!"
I woke up, for real this time. Papyrus' room wasn't dark anymore, and Papyrus was right beside me. I tried to get under his arm so it would be like a hug or like I was being held. I sniffled trying to stay quiet as I began to cry but I must have been too loud. It wasn't long until Papyrus woke up. He picked me up and shooshed me, "Shh, what's wrong?"
"I-I'll be good, I c-can change. I'll d-do whatever you want me too. I-I'll stop fighting with Sans just please don't hate me!" I begged as Papyrus pet my head. I hugged his arm as if he would disappear. Papyrus got up and walked downstairs and into the living room. "Here, I'll make you some hot chocolate and you can tell me what happened ok?" I nodded.
Papyrus set me down on the couch and left to go to the kitchen. I sat and waited for Papyrus to come back. Sans teleported on the couch and glared at me. I didn't say anything nor did I look at him. "Heya, you ignoring me?" I shook my head side to side. "Not talking huh? That's fine, that means I won't have to hear your annoying voice."
Papyrus walked over and handed me a mug. "Will you tell me what happened now?" He asked, "I just had a nightmare, that's all." I said taking a sip from my mug. "You were crying, " Papyrus stated. "Wow, so not only are you a crybaby when you want attention you're just a crybaby all the time." I continued to drink my hot chocolate. "Please don't hate me" I mumbled.
"I won't hate you Y/n," Papyrus said as I mumbled my previous statement over and over. It got to the point where even Sans seemed to be getting worried. "Kiddo, what happened in your nightmare?" Sans had never called me that before, I became slightly confused. I forced myself not to cry. My throat hurt. "It's nothing, really. I'm all better now." I forced a smile and looked at both of them.
Sans sighed, "I can fake a smile better than that. Come on, just tell us whats wrong."
I began sniffling as I started crying, "I-I had a d-dream you guys we-were mad at me, really mad. I was so sc-scared that you would hurt me, and it felt so real. . ." Sans seemed to facepalm slightly maybe he thought I was being stupid. "You really think we, well Papyrus, would hurt you?" Papyrus flicked Sans on the skull and I giggled a little."Oh yeah, laugh it up kiddo. I knew you would do this though, I felt it in my bones." Sans said with a wink. I laughed more, and Sans seemed to be happy with my response. Sans continued to tell me puns, it wasn't long until I started telling puns as well.
"I guess you could say you're bad to the bone?" Sans chuckled a little. "Good one kid."
"Remind me why you never got along again?" Papyrus said rubbing his skull. We looked at each other and laughed, it was nice to see Sans smile. Maybe him loving me like Papyrus loves me isn't too hard to do after all.
