*Rose's POV*
I watched six of my beautiful pups play with a small leaf as Kadri sat by the tree stump snacking on a plump mouse. She seemed to be the smallest of the pups, and shyest. Always sitting in a corner playing by herself, or with Maddy. She started to swipe a leaf over into a small log and didn't come out for a long time. As I went in, the little pup was sleeping peacefully. What a joy to have such an adorable group of amazing pups.
I looked over at Maddy who landed a quick blow on one of her brother's snout. Snook pawed her back. Maddy always seemed to have so much fun wrestling with the boys. She was much bigger than them though. She was bigger than all of her brothers and her one sister. She's different, and so is Kadri. But they are different in an amazing way... they are truly special.
I turned around to walk happily over to my dear mate, Max.
"We have two of the most special daughters in the whole pack." I said cheerfully.
"I've noticed he said." He lifted his head, and I lifted mine and we both howled cheerfully through the snowy skies and at the moon.
After a long night of socializing here and there with the pack, I sat under an old tilted willow with Tascara.
“You surely have some lively pups!" She said with a laugh as we watched my children play.
“They will grow up to be strong, especially Maddy.” I strongly agreed.
Maddy was a strong, powerful pup who cared for her brothers and her only sister. We were negotiating what we thought about my other lively pups. Everyone had gathered to sleep together in a big warm bunch in the small cave they found when they first came here. The cave wasn't very deep but it made a great shelter. I curled up into a ball with several other wolves around me. I started to drift to sleep when a pair of paws walked on me. Seconds later my pups were curled up on top of me sleeping soundlessly. I fell asleep with happy thoughts of wht my wonderful children would grow up to be like.
