Chapter 5: Grueling Days

-Grace's POV-

We sleep in and I hope our schedules don't get screwed up. Probably in a few days things will be back to normal. Maybe not because we will probably have crazy schedules no matter what.

I take a shower and get ready for the day. Then I check my phone to see that it is 1 PM.

I see that Caroline is in the living room staring out into the distance.

"The view is very nice. Come look."

What is up with people scaring me?! Or is it just me being me?!

"Um, yeah the view is quite...something eh?"

"Oh yes! I can't wait to go out and about! Shopping, karaoke, visit tourist places, oh gosh so much to do!"

"Do you want to go get something to eat? I'm famished!"

"FOOD!" Caroline has a bunch of energy when she's up and running...gosh!

We head to the S.M. dining area where we pick out some foods to try. Everything looks so delicious! We pick out some meats and take a water bottle. Then we sit at a lonely table in the middle.

"So, do you have a boyfriend back home?!"

Yep, Caroline is quite the hyperactive person. I'm sure I'll have a bunch of fun with her though!

"Um, no. I just moved to LA from Jersey this summer. To...follow my dreams as a singer. It all happened pretty quickly."

"Oh that's so cool! Sorry you didn't have much time to find a cute boy to go out with." She pouts a bit and I laugh.

"What's so funny over here?!"

Mark plops down next to me. I just point at Caroline.

"Apparently Grace gets my humor. Hi, I'm Caroline!"

"Mark. I'm...a new friend of Grace's. I'm from LA."

"Washington state. So you guys just met recently?"

"Yeah, in LA. Long story."

"Oh, Grace and I are roommates. Who is yours?"

"A dude named Marcus who is from Nevada. He's pretty cool."

"Ha, you guys have similar names!" I butt in.

A boy sits down next to Mark.

"Hello groupie. What did I miss?"

"Boring things that didn't include you."

"Thanks guys, thanks!" Marcus grins.

Intros go around one more time around with nationalities. Obviously I'm Korean, Caroline is Japanese decent, Mark is of Tawainese decent, and Marcus is of Chinese decent. What a group, eh?

We quickly all start joking around and having a good time. Thank God I made some friends or this experience would be an awful one.

After a what seems like a very short time, I glance at the clock on the wall and see the time.

"Hey guys, we should get going to the meeting."

We file out to the lobby where everyone has started to gather. We all wait for the staff member who was with us yesterday.

"Hello again trainees! I am the language teacher, Mrs. Kim. I will bring you on a tour of the building as well as introduce you to all of the groups as well as give you your schedules. I will explain everything you need as we go along. Let's get started!"

We being in the lobby which is just a normal looking lobby. A secretary desk with a big S.M. Entertainment logo behind it with chairs. Then we head to the second floor where the dinning area resides as well as a recreation area is.
